It's Just Okay

In my honest opinion, this product is just okay. After fully assembling and tightening the screws as much as allowed, the stand is still a bit flimsy and wobbly. Assembly was easy AFTER I watched the video on the sales page, but it can be confusing if you only look at the instructions included in the package. I will definitely have to make some modifications to the feet of the stand in order to make it more sturdy. I purchased this product during a sale, but I do feel it is a little overpriced.

As I opened the box containing this arch, I was impressed by the pretty golden color of the metal sections. The rectangular pieces each had a stem on one end. It is important to alternate the stems-side to side-left, right, left. The instructions are mere drawings that look like all stems are on same side. They are not very clear and made it somewhat difficult to assemble properly. Fully assembled, mine leans slightly forward, even after tightening all bolts & wing nuts. If used outdoors, I would definitely put a couple of weights on the base to ensure that it stays upright. The half moon top piece I received was bowed on the bottom, instead of being flat. It took my husband pulling really hard while I put the bolt & wing nut on each side to get that piece close to where it should be. There were a few flaws in the paint and the way the pieces fit together. But, all in all the item is pretty nice. I chose it because I planned to use it for my granddaughter’s upcoming wedding and also a baby shower this fall. The imperfections will be hidden with floral sprays, swags, sheer drapes and/or balloons. I wove a floral swag through the top of the arch in just a couple of minutes and plan to use balloons down the sides to complete the look I am after. It can be used to decorate for holidays as well. I wish the manufacturer had used gold toned bolts to better blend in with the frame color. The wing nuts that tighten on base are the only ones which are gold toned (see photos). I also would have liked to have seen plastic caps that could fit into the ends of the base to give it a more finished look. This item can easily be broken down into two pieces for transporting and storage.

[Rewarded Review] Very Nice

The Wedding Arch comes in a relatively small box so storage under a bed or tucked into a closet isn’t unreasonable. Assembly is easier and faster than unpacking it from the box. Just line up the parts, slide together, then lock with bolts and wing nuts. Would be better is the tabs found, only on one side of each panel were located on both sides of each panel, to make assembly easier, the bolts unnecessary, and aid in rigidity. And there’s one of the two drawbacks. It’s a little too flexible to stay straight upright. It bowed either forwards or backwards. Second, the addition of plastic or rubber feet to prevent scratches to floors.
