Great product but customer service very poor

I ordered our second large set because we bought a new building and sold our old church and I requested installation on the new one and they told me a few days before delivery and set up that they did not install for churches, daycares or schools. They had already shipped the playset to Maine, and it was probably just a few miles away, but they told me their policy was to ship it back to Georgia and ship me a new one and I think that tat is a really, really, poor policy that probably cost them a lot of shipping. Then wait 2 or 3 more weeks for the new one. Very dissatisfied with the service, although the product is fantastic.

Just the right size

The directions were clear and the kit was complete and well marked. We are pleased with its appearance and sturdiness and expect the kids will have hours of fun on it.

Playground is nice once built.

Playground took four days for my husband and I to build. We had to drill a lot of holes ourselves since they were not predrilled. Some of the wood pieces split and broke while drilling pieces together. We were missing quite a bit of brackets to the ladders and swing set. The company could do a better job on organizing pieces and have better quality wood and accessories. The twist slide is junk and cheap.

We’ve had it now for a month and a half and still don’t have it put together. We started, but we are needing to hire someone to finish it. It’s a little too difficult for my husband and I. There’s over 200 pages of instructions and we are on page 38. I’ll rate it as average until my grandchildren can play on it.

My kids loved it, every feature. The only issue I had was there was a missing box and no way for me to know unless I tried to inventory every part. A box was missing from the pallet, so it appeared I had everything until we got a couple steps started not being able to find pieces. I found some directions very hard to understand but most of them were pretty straightforward and easy to follow. When I got the missing box delivered it was missing things in that box. So I had to wait for a third shipment. We had multiple groups of adults helping put this together over multiple weekends, 6-24 hours estimate doesn’t count trying read and understanding directions or inventory parts or find parts. The hardware was a lot to manage, we got screw tool box tray for the stuff worked nicely. I highly recommend hiring someone to put it together. The only thing missing a tire swing and monkey bars, my kids pointed out, but they still love it.

Overall: B+

Compared to other big brands, this set definitely has more bang for your buck. Assembly wasn't terrible but plan to spend more time searching for the right piece than actual assembly. Building 4 to 5 steps at a time seemed to make it go quicker. Had a few head knocks on the low beam near the bridge but hasn't happened again. Predrilling some of the holes is a must otherwise expect split wood. Instructions only had a few outdated steps, one being a new support bracket. Messaged company and they were super helpful. Overall, it's much better value than the bigger name brands and our kids are loving it.

We ordered this swing set a couple months ago. ...

We ordered this swing set a couple months ago. After sorting all the boxes, we realized there were 3 boxes and two slides missing. When we called customer service, they told us we had to return the whole thing and we have to reorder. My husband had started putting it together so we had to take the whole thing down and pack it up. It took a whole month to get and only a few days to return. We ended up re-purchasing from somewhere else because of the whole ordeal. It was a disappointing experience.

[Rewarded Review] Awesome Playset!

When we originally bought the playset we wanted the building of it to come with it. Unfortunately, we found out this was not in our area. They did give us the option to cancel. I was able to find somebody great to build the playset. It took awhile, but it is completed and absolutely awesome! My children love it and it will be great to use for years to come. My only issue is the telescope lens was cracked.

[Rewarded Review] Great Quality

I bought the Treasure Trove 1 back in September 2021 for my daughter's 1st birthday. So next summer she can enjoy it. Only using swings right now. It absolutely came with alot if peices. But they were fairly well organized. I layed everything out by part number on tables and followed the steps from beginning to end which is very uncommon I normally build by picture and ignore directions. But its a matter of safety for my child so I took the time! I did change the part number layout to move the swings to the opposite side were I wanted it properly and safely structure wise for my yard design (I framed houses for years so couldnt help it haha) I would say I independently have 30 hrs into assembly over a few random days and then one day with a couple buddy's to finish it up for about 6ish hours. The only complaint I have is they sent me older instructions then told me I can download new (Just annoying that it delayed and some changes needed to be made, with new peices not listed) I also was missing a few things and when I reached out they sent me some correct parts but then some not. And said they didn't carry them but it absolutely needed 1/2" screws for some of the roof pieces and they sent 1 1/2" saying it was correct but no they would stick out so u bought them at a hardware store. Overall I'm very satisfied with the playset. Its absolutely worth the money for Gorilla products they are more expensive for a reason. I have assembled other brands with friends over the years and Gorilla just builds better quality. My child will get many years of enjoyment out of this product!

Great playset! My 4 year old daughter loves it

I bought this play set in October and got to assemble it in December. I bought through Wayfair. I was not quite pleased with their delivery service: I ordered for it to be delivered to the installation site (backyard) but found it delivered on my curbside that has a little bit of a steep hill.

[Rewarded Review] A lot of fun!!

This took a lot more time then the estimate but it's absolutely worth it. Directions are mostly clear and you need to make sure you read through the entire step before starting. I would recommend spending the time sorting the wood by step and labeling all the hardware to make the build go smoother. It took two if us two full weekends to get together but the kids love it!!

great quality, safe

Covid delayed the shipping so we did not receive for a few months. It took longer to assemble than expected but we didn't have professionals available. We have a 3 year old and a 2 year old and they play on it everyday! There are a number of safety features on it that make me very comfortable with them being younger. We will enjoy this for many years to come.

Great Play Set

It took a while to get since the manufacturer was back ordered due to COVID. Now that it is here it is great! The kids love playing on the slides and upper clubhouse and then relaxing on the lower level at the picnic table. It seems to be great quality. Great purchase!!!

[Rewarded Review] Awesome Details!

Highly recommended reading instructions and sorting pieces completely prior to starting. The instructions were easy to follow but sometimes finding the correct hardware and wood was time consuming.

[Rewarded Review] Great quality!

This product is all I could ever want and more for my child to play on! The assembly was clear and simple; just requires some effort put in! For how many boxes it came in, I thought it would be missing pieces but to my pleasant surprise it was all there! I love the safety features as they put me at ease for sure. The wood is high quality, well cut, and beautiful. The accessories and details really spice up the product. Very impressed and well worth it! This playset will last my family for years to come!

[Rewarded Review] A Mountain of FUN!

A local Church bought this Gorilla Treasure Cove 2 playset, had a new fence put up, and suddenly no one to assemble it due to the week of July 4th, most builder/assembler types are in their busiest season while others are mostly on vacation. I volunteered/donated the week to the assembly as a community gesture, for the children. Anyway, first off, ALWAYS follow the directions on these playsets: They are engineered to be assembled in specific order, by the letter, and IF you don't you will have to go back and undo what you've assembled to continue forward at some point. I had help on day one for 5 hours and spent half of day two undoing most of what they assembled, thinking they could cut corners by jumping ahead. All of the parts are marked with coded alpha/numeric stamps which my only request for bettering the plans would be to add those codestamps to the assembly plan instead of just the material list. Would save a LOT of time and confusion spent measuring parts over and over in search of a measurement match. (It's how modular office furniture parts are marked/coded and saves much time unloading 18 wheelers and staging parts pre-assembly, btw.) Secondly, the lumber used to mill these parts is lighter than say treated pine, so don't be intimidated by the size of the towers. Two lean people can easily stand the towers after horizontal assembly, and not out of the question done as a one person task. Once all towers are locked together and all bolts are tightened down, levelled/plumbed, the playset is very stable and safe. The lumber is smooth and sharp corners and edges removed, plastic and metal parts/toys are smooth and comfortable. There are plenty of combined activities to do for a horde of kids and my 3 yr old daughter was the first on it, my little test pilot...she LOVES it! Now I want one for our yard.

This is one of the best purchases I've ever made. My daughter loves it, my whole family loves it. I'm in my mid 30's 120 pounds 5'4" and pretty much put the whole thing together myself. My husband helped me with relocating it (I built it in sections on my carport) and attaching the slides. I thought the instructions were easy to use and read. This thing will last forever I assume my grandkids will be playing on this in 20+ years.

Treasure Trove II Swing Set - Excellent purchase

I purchased this swing set primarily for my 2 year old, and he loves playing on it. The 7' turbo slide is his favorite slide. I am 6'4" and weigh 240lbs and this swing set has no problem supporting my weight. I don't fit on the turbo slide, but I really appreciate how sturdy the scoop slide feels when I go down it countless times... just to make my son happy. I know my 2 year old and younger son will be able to appreciate this swing set for years, and we are all very happy with the purchase.

My husband and I have put other sets together....this one was the best. We are so pleased with it...

My husband and I have put other sets together....this one was the best. We are so pleased with it and our grandkids love it. It was only missing one part and they will ship that to me. I recommend opening everything and organizing the pieces and hardware. Follow the instructions step by step. Don't second guess. If they leave a bolt out, there is a reason...it will come later. The hardest part was getting the tower posts plumb and level.
