Provides great ambient lighting

what can i say? I am running over 10 govee products in my house. this particular strip is one of my favorites. easy to install and many scenes to choose from. best of all, great customer support. i am a fan for life.

Stick on sticks

The neon strips are pretty good. These are pixelated, disjointed, the tracks are you replicas of led track and impossible to install straight. Hard pass.

Used these strips w/ covers in my bed room and theyre a total vibe. Bright enough to light my whole room actually. Love the customization options. Be prepared to cut the tracks and cover to perfect size if you want it just right

Perfect for the Office

I used these lights to decorate two book shelves for an office makeover but I did not use the covers for them, but wanted them just in case I do wish to use the covers in the future. I love that there's an app to control everything and I can sync all of my Govee lights together. I used 16ft for each bookcase and have a third set that I've decided to repurpose for use under my TV stand in the living room. May these last me for many years to come!

Not user friendly

The covers were difficult to use and the cut points on the lights didn't line up with the covers. Adhesive strips also took paint off the wall. They look nice when one but I do regret my purchase

Very stylish

The covers remove any potential glare. You experience only the vibrant display of colors from the LEDs. Well done Govee !

ordered this lights for my outdoor kitchen but before i installed them i found out they are not for outdoor use. Nowhere on the website does it say indoor use only. Call to return because they are useless to me and was told i have to pay for return shipping. That is not right

Major upgrade from last brand I tried

Install was nice and easy, looks beautiful and the channel and cover really helps protect the strip from my animals, as well as nicely diffusing the light, which was needed compared to the dim strip lights I had before (cheap no name brand). The only two things that could make these better would be sideways 90 turns, and a slight app upgrade (but the app my just be user inexperience) while I found a work around for the effect I was trying for I've had trouble creating it without a large amount of automation timers....

The track and cover system makes for a clean looking install. The covers diffuse the lights nicely. The included inner and outer corner pieces makes negotiating 90 degree turns easy. A miter saw made quick work of the cuts I had to make. My total run is about 30 feet, so I had to buy 2 sets, but they easily connect together and are cuttable. Each cut segment is about 19 3/4 inches. Customer service at Govee was top notch when I had a couple of questions. Highly recommended. My only wish is that it was possible to connect more than 2 sets together, so you’re not limited to 32.8 feet on one power supply.

What a wonderful way to transform a room

For my smaller living/tv room, I put the strip lights up in the wall-ceiling corners in a big rectangle—it's very very cool and completely changed the room for the better.

I love them!

Fairly simple to install. Colors look awesome and diffuser gives the lights a clean, modern look. Clips hold the LED’s in place so as not to have the lights pushed too close to the diffuser’s. Love all the options you get with the Govee app. I mainly use it for ambient lighting, but there are additional options like “white light” which I use for a brighter room, and “rolling” which I use to pair with music. My friends loved it when I had a party.
