Whimsical, Eclectic but guess what--it's sturdy!

Why didn’t I buy this chair before? It was in my saved forever and I finally did it and my whole room changed. Very whimsical. And it does not take up a bunch of space. The velvet is nice too. This is a really nice piece.

Stunning chair. A bit difficult to get all the screw holes to line up, but once you do... perfection!!

I bought this chair for the intent to use on stage for a performance.This Chair is absolutely gorgeous. you can actually see the details of the hand carving. I bought this before I read the reviews. The issue with back is very real! im a big guy and i sat on it and I barely leaned back and starting cracking and snapping. my fix was putting 3 mending plate on the front side of the back. when you attach the seat, it covers the plates. the actors do crazy stuff with it and it holds up. i only gave 4 stars because, the seat is a bit hard, and having to put mending plates.

Art piece!

I sent this chair to my daughter as a gift . . . a unique & artistic accent for her "parlor" . . . I haven't seen it firsthand, but it seems sturdily constructed and makes a sculptural statement . . . we both love the design. I rated it a "4" as there seems to be a flaw streak in the velvet seat which showed in the photo she sent me.

This is a beautiful chair, and the design and color are exactly as pictured. I was looking for a chair like this, and other similar chairs are way too expensive in my opinon. But this one is great for both price point and looks. It's also perfectly comfortable to sit in.

This chair is so pretty. I got it for my bedroom, and it looks so elegant. It is exactly the right size for the space I had available.

This chair is just gorgeous. It arrived very quickly and carefully packed. Just be sure not to lean too hard into the back (as some other posters noted, the back does not feel as sturdy as the rest of the chair).

I simply love this chair. I bought this item not to long ago for my entrance. Everyone make a comment when they walk threw my front door. It looks amazing and comfortable at the same time. I am considering to buy one more

Great presence

I was attracted by the price to begin with and ordered on a whim, and then I worried whether they might be a bit over the top, and they arrived. I am delighted, they may be a bit over the top but because the bedroom is so renaissance they fit in beautifully. Thank you Design Toscano I am very happy with my purchase.

Great for a small dining room

I combined these with an antique glass table in a small dining room to not take up eye space and it worked great and everyone says they have never seen anything like them.
