Horrible Chemical Smell!

HORRIBLE CHEMICAL SMELL!!! Retuned immediately as it made my asthma flair and can’t imagine what that smell would do to my 11 month old! Hugely disappointing after having success with this at my parent’s home, so much so that we ordered an extra one for use at our home. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Shame on Graco for putting whatever chemicals on this pack n play! How can you explain this when this was not an issue for the first one we bought??

Not worth it.

The “mattress” continuously bunches up in the middle even while buttoned down on the corners. The bottom legs do not stay locked. Sheets do not help with the bunching, it just makes it worse. The sheets were purchased from the gracobaby website for this model. I’m not sure if we got a broken one or what but we didn’t get to try it out until past the return window, which is very unfortunate for us.

I didn’t love this pack and play, it’s incredibly bulky and to be honest, not quick or easy to assemble like other travel sleep systems on the market. I really dislike the base “feet”. It totally seems unstable. The pack and play itself is super bulky. Although it’s light, it’s pretty cumbersome. The padding is very minimal and I can’t imagine it’s comfortable for baby, especially for sleeping. My babies were great sleepers, but never slept well when we travelled with this pack and play. It’s way easier to assemble, pop open and lock into place with two people. But as busy parents, it’s so much easier when one parent can do it solo. For that reason, that’s why I have such a low star rating.

I really love the pack and play. I didn’t get anything fancy, just a basic pack and play which was very helpful when traveling with an infant. The pack and play is always pretty easy to set up once you get the hang of it. It’s a great portable bed and playpen. No there are many others on the market, but I don’t have any experience with them so I can say. But I will always give the graco pack and play a high rating for safety, convenience, ease of use and ease of transport.

I didn't like this pack n play. It's not as tough %26 sturdy as my other one I've had for 23 years which I used for my own babies. And the pad is thin, hard, flimsy, %26 you can feel the uncomfortable metal brackets underneath it. My grandbabies are spending the night tomorrow, so I had to rig up a way to make it more comfortable. I cut up a twin mattress foam topper up pad, folded it in half, and with great effort, pulled it through underneath the thin plastic bottom that the mattress pad lays down on and the metal bars %26 brackets underneath that bottom. Now at least the baby won't have to feel the metal bars underneath while sleeping.

This is great for easy portability. The assembly was quick and simple. The mattress does seem to get air in it when you put on a fitted sheet and the mattress also does not seem to go completely to the sides, however, I purchased another brand play yard and it seemed to do the same. The mattress in this seems to be more comfortable compared to other brands. I love the pattern “reign”!

This thing held up through two years of consistent use and could go longer if we needed it to. My son slept in it while we had to stay with family after a storm claimed our house and tore it apart. At that time he was almost 2 and could climb out of it when we stopped using it. So I cut the net on one side so he could climb in and out on his own, safely. From there it can be a whole little project for you parents lol. Turn it into a little book nook or day bed instead of throwing it out and get you a few more years of fun out of it lol. Just an idea. 10/10 we loved this pack and play.

Contains your child while they open up the pit in your empty living room

Our daughter is in her "terrible twos" She's getting into everything and ensuring that clean-up is as difficult as possible. She recently discovered "mosh pits", as both of her parents are metalheads, and that's where we decided we had to do something. Vacuuming with a 2-year-old is hard enough without them throwing an elbow right into your knee. Since we got this, she can disrespect her surroundings without actually disrespecting her surroundings. We can vacuum, sweep, etc. without it disrupting her precious play time. 5/5 Do recommend.

This Pack ‘n Play Playard is really helpful when I visit my mom. Baby can sleep in there or play while they awake. It’s convenient and safe to watch yout kids too. The playard is light and easy to move around the house but the material is really sturdy and good for long term use. Recommend for any parents need to be free while cooking or do something quick without worry baby might fall

I got this for my nephew and he loves it. Originally I purchased it for my sister, that way when she comes over or to her friends house he can take this portable play yard. It’s very easy to put away and to put together. Plus I noticed it’s very durable and sturdy, so it’s very safe for children. It’s a bit on the pricey side but I always think there shouldn’t be a price tag on a child’s safety. This is made really well so please don’t hesitate on checking it out. Or their other products are just as great.

Worked for a while

overall okay, they dont make quality items these days but it was a very cute grey, neutral pattern. Received as a baby shower gift. It held up for about a year, from june 2022 - jan 2024. My kid was in it everyday for a few months then got holes/rips in the bottom (expected). bottom rail is wobbly and loose and wheels bent. Definately won't last for second kid, ill have to buy another one

No Handle on Carrying Case

The Pack 'n Play itself has been working great, however, the carrying case does not have a handle on it as pictured. This makes it hard to actually travel with it, since it's awkward to carry to/from the car without a handle. I actually came out here to see if there are other reviews noting this issue, and there are, so it's not just missing from our case. This seems to be a pretty big design flaw. Is there any way to get a replacement case with a handle?

I absolutely love the features of a Graco pack and play, but I do not like the actual pad that is in the inside. The fact that it is trifold, the pieces of the board tend to slip after cleaning. I have purchased now four pack, and plays so that we always have one. It is just unfortunate you cannot put anything over the pad or it voids the warranty and it puts your child at risk. But, you can’t really clean this if he has any kind of blowout or diaper issue. I still love the pack and play. I just wish I wasn’t on my fourth one already.

This definitely will do the job of a portable crib, however it isn’t as comfortable as it could be. The mat is thicker than some models but still very hard, and the material is irritating to baby skin so must be covered in a sheet or blanket. This also is less sturdy than I like, kids can easily tip it by leaning their weight on one side (even a smaller toddler/baby). Overall it is function and easy to set up, a good fallback for short naps or overnights

I’ve been using the Graco Pack ’n Play for several years now. it has become an essential part of our family’s life. This portable crib/playard has been an absolute lifesaver for myself or can be for any parents that are on the go and need a safe, comfortable, secure space for our little ones. It’s portable, easy to travel with, set up and break down. The carry bag it comes in is simple and easy to carry as well. I love it because it’s very sturdy and easy for my little one to take a nap or play in. It is so versatile too! It doubles as a portable crib and playpen. It’s very simple to clean. I know babies can be messy and have accidents so since the fabric is washable, that is an absolute bonus! I rated it 4 stars only because it is expensive. However, everything is costly these days so I’m grateful it can be used over the years, which makes it a great investment. This is a must have for new existing parents, even grandparents, aunts uncles, babysitters or especially those with an active lifestyle. I highly recommend it to my fellow parents!

Handy Play yard for Dementia Doll storage.

I wish this had a bassinet. It was gray elephant unisex, which was good as I have both girl and boy dolls dressed and awaiting their forever families while they are stored in it.

Carrying case has no handle

The pack n play itself is great but the carrying case shown in the description had a handle. The case I received had no handle, just a large hole where the handle was shown to be. I have another Graco Pack n Play and it has a handle on the case. Not sure if this was an intentional change in design or a defect. It makes carrying and transporting the pack n play awkward and difficult. It’s not exactly a lightweight product. I need the product now and an exchange would come in too late for the trip we’re about to take.
