Hard to assemble and misaligned pieces

This crib was insanely difficult to assemble. The parts for the crib were misaligned and we needed to do some extra steps to fix this. Spent too much time assembling this and would not recommend. You need a drill and extra screws to do this right. The wood is very soft and causes cracking if you try and tighten the screws.

Damaged but great storage

I don't know what when wrong with the packing, but the drawer track was bend and wood was chipped off in multiple places. However, there is a lot of storage. This is a great crib if you have some space. It is large but definitely smaller than getting separate units. It is also not blackout black, just black.

Exactly what I wanted. I bought the open box sale and it came in perfect condition. I love the solid back so that it acts as a feature against the wall. The bottom drawer is not very deep but great for additional bedding storage. The slats are the recommended distance to minimize (although not eliminate) the occurrence of little arms and legs going through and the flat slats are also better for that than round ones. It fits a standard mattress and has multiple levels as your little one grows. Relatively easy assembly and feels solid once constructed. Would buy again.

This is my first time purchasing a crib for my second child, so I can't really compare it to others. However, I really like this crib. It has a nice finish and a classy, simple style. I am happy with it. My only concern is that the highest notch for the baby's first stages is quite low. It's not a huge deal because the mattress I got makes it a little taller, but I wonder how easy it will be for me to get her in and out after she's born. I am 4'11" and I do have a good reach over the crib, so I think I'll be okay. Other than that, I am happy. The drawers are also great because they provide extra storage for blankets, sheets, and covers. I'm sure you can store anything in there if you'd like.

Absolutely love the Hadley 5 in 1 convertible crib and changer with storage! Its been a game-changer for us. The quality is superb, and it looks beautiful in our nursery. The convertible feature is fantastic as it grows with our little one, making it a long-term investment. The added storage is a huge bonus, keeping everything organized and within reach. Overall, highly recommend this product to any parent looking for style, functionality, and durability in their nursery furniture!

The crib looks great! It took us a little over 3 hours to build it. The bottom drawer is a little bit stubborn and needs a good tug to open and good thump for it to close. Would’ve been nice to have them split the drawer in half on the bottom and had a track in the middle so that there were two drawers on the bottom rather than one long drawer that is separated in the middle anyway by a board. But other than that great crib.

For the price, this is a good crib. The drawer underneath works great, sliding in and out, and is perfect for diapers, wipes, small toys, clothes, etc.

Damaged items

Please note this is not a review for the crib itself but the experience of purchasing this crib through Walmart. Looks like a great crib, too bad I never had the opportunity to use it. I tried ordering this crib 3 times and every time it was delivered damaged. Was promised a full refund but it looks like greedy Walmart is going to keep the delivery fee. Never shopping through Walmart again, don’t waste your time and money getting it through the website either

Horrible chemical smell and damaged peices

Had purchased this a year and a half ago, happen to see it on targets site, Thought I'd share my review while I was on here. Crib parts came scratched and chipped, also had a really really strong chemical smell. Took me about a week to get rid of it using cleaning products and airing it out. I had originally wanted this crib as the changing Table was attached, however by the time my daughter was 3-4 months she had outgrown it. The changing table itself was sturdy and drawers worked well, however the drawer directly under the crib has always given us problems. Bottom of it has gone out many times, and the hardware has had to be replaced by us. Really disappointed in this brand, thought I'd share my thoughts for new customers/ parents.

I ordered this crib for my sister this past October. It was delivered quickly, and my sister was able to put most of it together herself at about six months pregnant. I’m writing this review a couple of months later, and it looks absolutely amazing with bedding in it. It’s truly the focal point of the nursery as far as furniture goes. My sister loves it and has made use of all of the storage space. It seems really sturdy as well, and the white is so elegant. I hope she gets a few years out of it.

Have been using this crib for 5 months now. It was easy to put together and worked really well with our decor. Really like the crib. The only issue was the bottom drawer as it never lined up properly. Also, now that we have been using the crib, paint has chipped a little where we put my son down, but this is easy to fix. Other than that, its a great crib.

LOVE IT !

I honestly love this crib. I’m having my first baby and I thought this would be the perfect affordable fit for us. One thing I really loved was the drawers and changing table. Loved how there is so much room for my babies clothes and blankets and etc. I had totally forgot about the extra space in the back of the drawers that totally came in handy ! Mattress did come separately but overall satisfied. I was skeptical at first due to the reviews but I’m glad I went with my instincts. Set up was a lot of pieces, easier for me to YouTube the instructions lol. Only part I would recommend when building is knowing how far up or down you want the crib/bed to be placed at. I followed the manual and had to take it off to reassemble that part again. I’m short so I needed baby to be as far up to my reach as possible. Lol other than that 100% satisfied with my purchase!

this crib is great! it was a little difficult to put together but it’s a solid crib. the drawers are great for storage and the shelves help holding diapers. my son did grow out of the changing table maybe around 6 months - because he was too big but would also try to roll off - so we don’t use it anymore. but i’ll occasionally use it to put his sleep sack on still (now that he’s 1 year). because the changing table is attached it was very hard to lower the crib down. my husband and I are short and we could not comfortably tighten the mattress spring in that corner.

Probably consider other options

Crib arrived with a horrible smell. We left it in our garage (that has good indoor and outdoor air circulation) for an entire week and when we brought it inside the smell of paint strongly remained for another 2 weeks. We had to leave the windows in the room open with the fan on high on top of the central AC. It was a long process. Another huge complaint is the changing table. The frame around it has an open gap which allows my now 9 month old baby’s arms and legs to slip through and get stuck. The area is also smaller than traditional changing tables so as she gets older if she pushes her feet against the bottom frame she has enough force to push herself up… hitting her head on the top frame. This happens even when she is strapped in using the attached clips. The supplied changing pad is paper thin. My daughter screams every time she is laid on it. We purchased the crib specifically to save space and be able to use the item long term. But in hindsight I would now opt for separate crib and changing table options. Beyond the original smell and the changing table issues it’s a decent crib. It’s affordable and It looks nice.It also has numerous drawers for storage which is helpful. I probably wouldn’t recommend buying it just because the hassle it’s caused me but it could work for others.

Seems like a great idea - but in actuality...not so much!

Bought this thinking it'd be great for all in one purposes. Storage? Check! Changing Table? Check! Cute? Check! Well after using for a year here's the real deal: -The bottom drawer is always hard to open unless you pull from the middle. We are talking it won't open at all from the sides. -The side drawers - guess what baby loves to stick her hands in there and they open really really easy so more to baby proof -The changing table? Baby's length outgrew that by 8 months! So if you use you have to have her feet hang over or put buffers on the sides so she doesn't hit her head (the strap does not prevent that) -The concept of converting to toddler bed also has been a pain! Guess what I can't find anywhere? The toddler conversion kit/rails. Been looking for at least 4 months. Kind of defeats the purpose if those aren't available? Lastly, it chips very very very easy. It's chipped from leaning over the changing station (just from some wear), and it came with a nail sticking out the middle of the top rail! We hammered it in, and added clear nail polish on top but again it's just another thing to have to deal with for this (not so perfect) bed!

We just had our 13- weeks old grandson for his first visit. My daughter and son-in-law LOVED the Hadley with attached Changing area so much, they have now ordered one for their son’s nursery as he is ready to transition from his bassinet. We received the order in 3 days, without express delivery, and my husband and I assembled with no difficulty at all. Extra screws are even provided, which is wonderful. The directions were very user friendly, all holes drilled expertly. The drawers all hang perfectly and open & close with ease. The under crib storage drawer is excellent for additional bedding storage and open and closes w/out any issue. Note that it is one large drawer with a divider in the middle, not two separate drawers as it might appear in the photo. The crib was superiorly packed and secured with lots of styrofoam cushioning..not one scratch or ding on any surface. Additionally, there was no paint or chemical smell (I have experienced that odor on other furniture and am aware but NONE on the crib parts).

not so happy with this crib.

I was gifted this crib by my amazing friend which I am so grateful for, I fell in love with this crib as soon as I payed eyes on it for my first born. However, for the price paid this crib came with uneven drawers and one of them is hard to slide in I literally have to push it in with force to close which will end up scratching them in the long run, the front crib railing wood was damaged and scratched, I contacted buybuybaby right away to get a replacement for the front railing and was told the graco company will contact me within one hour to 24 hours of placing the call with buybuybaby. And that a replacement part will be sent out to me within 3-5 business days. I’m still waiting on the phone call from graco, if by any chance I don’t receive the phone call I will contact buybuybaby again. I’m just hoping the replace part comes in without any damages and doesn’t take long to ship and deliver as it was a hassle to get this crib delivered by fedex on the date stated. As for the Assembly of the crib, it was a bit complicated for my husband to put together since some pieces weren’t alining in place, but with patience and team work we made it happen. I will update this review as soon as I receive the replacement of the front railing And upload photos of the completed crib.

Worst crib ever

So upset with this crib!! I ordered this crib for my baby girl and was so excited to put it together until all the pieces started breaking and snapping apart. Literally 6 different pieces broke making it impossible to finish putting together. Could only contact a specific company for replacement parts. Replacement parts were ordered 3 days ago but still haven’t shipped even though we tried to pay extra for overnight shipping we were told it wouldn’t make things any faster and was a hassle for the company. Parts haven’t shipped. Can’t complete the set up and our baby is coming any day now. Can’t finish putting her things together, can’t set up her crib. Just a mess. If I had the box still I would be returning the whole thing. Unfortunately box got rained on and is ruined leaving us with no way to return. Paid over $400 for a crib for it to end up being a difficult mess and now I’m overly stressed because we are not ready for our daughter that will be showing up any day now. Cheap pets, difficult set up, crap customer service and replacement department. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS CRIB.

Sturdy and well-designed

It took my husband a little over two hours to put this crib together. The instructions were very clear, and every piece is labeled. The only part of the assembly that really needs two people is attaching the crib base.

Beautiful crib with changing table & storage space

This Graco Hadley 4 in 1 crib with changing table is simple yet beautiful! It combines functionality with a timeless, modern look. and does not only provide a safe sleeping space for my baby, but also plenty of storage room as well as a changing table for convenience. It is easy to put together, thanks to the great instruction booklet that was included, which featured detailed step-by-step instructions with illustrations that make it easy to follow along. All pieces are clearly marked with number stickers so there is no guesswork when it comes to which piece goes where, which I really liked. This crib is well-built and sturdy, up to all safety standards and includes the changing pad and safety belt for the changing station. I love that this crib offers a lot of storage space with a large divided pullout drawer underneath the crib and three deep drawers underneath the changing table. These drawers are about half the depth of the changing table, with an added shelf behind these drawers for additional open storage space. This crib is made of high quality material and will last a long time. I love that it can convert from baby crib to toddler bed, day bed and full bed (with an additional base that can be purchased when needed. Overall, this crib is a beautiful, modern and timeless piece in my baby's nursery that I love, it is convenient and saves space, and I would definitely recommend it to every parent or future parent!
