Excellent spoons.

These spoons are well-balanced and have a useful, but not-too-sharp, cutting tip. (I was always a bit worried our old ones -- 1950's vintage -- would cut my tongue!) These are also easy to clean. Overall, great spoon & great price too.

Love the spoon, needs a new sticker

I love these spoons, but I hope that Sur la Table uses a different price sticker soon. I actually scratched the metal up with my sponge (just a normal yellow-green sponge) before I got the sticker off of two of the four spoons I bought.

This spoon is okay! I would prefer that it had a sharper tip so that it was easier to pierce through the grapefruit. It does a nice job picking up the piece of fruit once you are able to pierce through and you can get a bit of juice on the spoon as well.

Yes, this is a simple grapefruit spoon, but it is also so much more! It's the perfect little gadget to scrape out seeds in a cucumber, or maybe a long pepper, certain squashes, melons and you can even use it to peel fresh ginger. Bet there are many other ways to utilize it too. Can't rave about it enough!

Great spoon! Glue from label is not easily removable!!

Overall the spoon seems fine. Heavier weight, sharp edges, stamp detail. The issue is that the manufacturer put sticker labels at the most inconvenient place on the spoon for removing the glue, add in the serated spoon edge and it becomes a hazardous activity. Sur la Table should be paying me for my time spent just so I can use these. Which after multiple attempts, is still not possible because the glue won’t come off. The glue is some sort of super glue (wondering if it’s even food safe?) that does not come off with hot water and soap it merely smears it around all over the spoon.
