Great desk!

The desk is very sturdy and I love the walnut color. It did take a while to put together but wasn't too bad. Looks great in my home office.

Pieces need to say top, bottom, inside or outside

We bought two of these desk and the wood under the drawers we put in upside down and did not know until fully assembled, would take several hiiurs to reverse them now. need to say top or bottom

Impressive Desk

This is used in our home office. Very good instructions. Everything fit very well when completed. Drawers worked very well. It looks very professional. For a do it yourself project I was very impressed.

Third Party Delivery Unreliable

My issue isn’t with the desk, although a bit cumbersome to put together it’s decent quality. My issue is with CEVA Home Delivery. They missed my first scheduled delivery appointment - I get it - things happen. But no phone call or email or even updated status on the Office Depot system. Called the company to ask about the status and the automated system had the new delivery date. Waited on hold for 30+ minutes and never could get to a representative. Next time I’ll just pick it up at the store

Good desk - long build

The desk is solid for the price. I wish some of the cams tightened down more, but it is relatively sturdy. Not much to have issue with other than how LONG it takes to build this desk. Set aside an entire day for this.

Love the look and feel of the piece

It's great quality for the price and we love the color. The only funny thing is that keyboard drawer seems like it does not fit as flush to the desk as it's supposed to.

Great Desk

I'm a 66 y/o female and was able to put this beautiful desk together without any help. Just go step by step and don't skip around! Love all the spacious drawers. Since I didn't really need the keyboard center drawer, I simply did not install it. That allows for even more legroom underneath the desk. I have many Sauder products from over the years, and they all have proven to be excellent quality.

You've come a long way, baby!

The last time I had a Sauder desk was back in 1996 - a big massive monolithic nightmare that weighed a ton and was impossible to move or disassemble. It was huge and I had so much space I didn't know what to do with it. Of course, it was made from some particle board with large grain, and the 'laminate' was as fake as it can get. Today, Sauder has furniture at various price points and I gotta say, I am impressed with the quality. A higher-density particle board with some weight, but not that fine stuff that turns into powder when you put fasteners into it. The laminate is top-notch - beautiful color variation with grain texture. It seems thick and looks like real wood, even up close! The shipping box was very heavy (>160 lbs) and moving it needed more than two people, so make sure you plan in advance where you want it, preferably near where you are building the desk. The material was in good shape; no dents or scratches, no bad parts or mismeasured pieces, and no missing bits (or extra either). The packaging in the box was amazing. Foam to fit all the gaps as the different layers of wood boards were stacked into a perfect shipping container. Assembly was straight-forward and stretched it out over 4 hours time. Nice product

Had the desk about a week. I like it and it goes well in my office. It wasn't difficult to put together and is very sturdy. One of the plastic circles that covers the cut out holes was broken but I wasn't worried about that. Left it off the hole on the bottom so it's not noticeable. Only thing that bothers me is there are two cable holes on the desk top, wish there was only one, because I can't put my paper rack in either corner without it sitting slanted.

Quality product and great look

This was my 8th Sauder piece, and I'm always impressed with the quality. Assembly takes time (maybe 10-12 hrs), but I'm super careful and particular. I'm also a 62 years old woman. So you can do it! :)

Immediately regretted purchase upon unboxing.

Misleading title and description. While described using words like “solid wood,” one has to dig deeper into the specs to see its “engineered wood” AKA particle board derivative. Many panels arrived with some form of mildew on them and the packaging was in poor condition upon delivery. Will not be purchasing Sauder products again. Will avoid Office Depot in the future.

NOT Solid Wood - misleading description.

As noted in other reviews, this item is NOT made of Solid Wood - its all particle board/MDF.Office depot website description is incorrect and misleading. Only thing wood is table Legs. Returning anything back is a night mare with OD.

Extremely Poor Quality, Incorrect Description

I had originally ordered a Sauder desk, which is still under warranty but discontinued. Manufacturer refused to honor warranty or offer comparable replacement - after months, Office Depot offered the Clifford desk at discounted price, to compensate. I paid the discounted price - received this desk and extremely poor quality, defective/damaged parts in the box.Office depot refused to assist any further. Extremely poor quality of item from Sauder and no customer service from neither Sauder nor Office Depot.

Bien dessiné, matériau de mauvaise qualité

Le bureau est bien dessiné, mais le matériau utilisé (le stratifié) est de piètre qualité. Déjà, après une semaine d’utilisation, je vois des marques permanentes des accrocs faits. Pour le prix que j’ai payé, je m’attendais à recevoir un meuble que je pourrais garder longtemps.

Beautiful desk

Very nice desk. I see a lot of reviews talking about how impossible it is to assemble but it took my brother a day to build it all by himself other than holding one piece for one step. Please take this as a sign to buy this desk. It’s beautiful and has great storage and it took three days to deliver after purchasing.

Nice Looking but horrible design

The desk is large and very nice looking however the legs broke within 5 months of buying, they are not sturdy and cause the whole desk to slant. On to the next purchase. JUST AVOID
