Overall we LOVE this table. It has a good deep storage compartment that fits all of our blankets and was fairly easy to assemble (about 45 minutes with 2 people). My only complaint is that the lift top feature is almost spring loaded and pops up quickly so do not have any drinks sitting on top of it when lifting it up or they will most likely spill. We love the color and even though it’s not real wood it has beautiful wood grain detail.

It works, we use it daily. Assembly was easy but the product is heavy so you need two people, especially when installing the lift mechanism. I sat on the couch with the top in my lap while my husband affixed the hardware. Also the wood piece supplied to stabilize the lift was too long so we sawed off 1/8 in at each end, otherwise it would not close.

This is my 11th piece of Sauder furniture. As usual it's made in the USA & sturdy. It was the easiest piece I've done. Only 5 pieces but a bunch of hardware. 95% of it can be done solo but the lid takes 2. No matter what. Use 2 people. The color is a little darker but I'm ok with that. I prefer that. Once finished it looks and feels great. The springs are super tight and when you open and close the lid it can get away from you so guide it very slowly for awhile until it loosens up. I'll update my review in a few months and see how it holds up.

Very sturdy for what it is

Assembly was easy, I could tell that the quality was very good. Typically when building furniture I cant tighten hardware as much as i'd like because the threads would tear out, but I no issues here!

Color isn't like picture

We just put this table together & I'm really disappointed with it. The color is so much darker than shown in the pictures here. It doesn't look nice with our living room, but now we're stuck with it. Quite small & the lid is hard to open & close.

We've had this table for two years, and it is great quality. It was very easy to put together, it is sturdy, and it holds SO MUCH of our stuff. (Photo from when we first put it together)

Beautiful piece. The top just scratches a tad too easily for something that’s designed to have stuff constantly put on top of it.

Love it!! Was a gift for my bf. Fits perfectly in his small living room condo. The deep storage is a plus for pillows and blankets. He just wishes the lift top was a little bit higher (he’s 6’ 1”).

This is a very pretty table and the assembly is straightforward with great detailed instructions. However, our unit came with a scratches on the top part which tells us that it scratches easily. This is something you dont expect from a top that will be used for work area because of the lift top function.

I would buy this product again

I'd like to use it as a coffee table and a desk. It took about 2 hours to assemble, except for the top with the mechanism. I'll call tomorrow to figure that out. I'm a 70-yr old woman with a bit of experience assembling Sauder products (an office desk). Nice packaging and labeling of parts. A little disappointed in a light streak in the front panel.

It was a little bit of a challenge to assemble but it is very functional. It’s stores blankets and sheets and it’s good for eating dinner while watching TV. I would recommend it.
