Gets too hot to be able to use it anywhere!!

Thus is not what it is intended for it does smoke and the fact that the bottom gets soo hot that it has to be put on tiles or something so its feet do not touch the table is ridiculous! It even says not to put it on the glass cooktop and that is supposed to get hot so I don’t really know where I’m supposed to be putting this big item.

cooked hamburgers tonight, it tast just like on a bbq! its very good, i used 1/2 water on the plate under the grill while cooking like it says. my husband loved it.

The size is cool. It cooks good, but this indoor grill smokes a lot . i had to open my door because of it .For that company to say smokeless is a lie . I could just cook outside for all that smoke .

a few notes about the grill

It is hot enough to put nice grill marks on the meat. Does smoke a little bit, did not set off smoke alarm until it was all done though. Easy to clean all parts in dishwasher.

This grill is a potential fire hazard. Shame on Home Depot for selling this product. The grill does not fit properly in the plastic holder and melts it. This is a potential fire hazard that could cause personal burns.

I used it tonight and it was amazing. My steak turned out perfect medium. The grill was set to high and I cooked for 7 minutes on both sides. I highly recommend.

This grill does what I wanted. I can get a little smoke from it by using butter or oil on the foods -- which I want, for the flavor -- but not so much smoke as to be annoying. The grill heats up wonderfully fast and is ready to use in just a minute or two. The base seems a little flimsy, but I didn't pay a fortune for this, either. All in all, a good product.

Never recieved item from 3rd party seller

I placed my order on november 25th. My order shower shopping lables created in New York on november 30th and one created in Realto California on the same day. i contacted the seller and walmart when my ited didnt show any movement after 2 weeks. Seller said they would send a replacement within 48 hours. 72 hours later, still no shipment. Contacted Walmart for a 3rd time and they finally told me that the seller is showing out of stock and refunded my money. I do NOT reccomend this seller! They could have simply told me they were out and refunded my money. I give this seller negitive 4 stars for lack of communication and poor business practices.

Better not smoke again or it's gone

this is advertised as smokeless but the first time I used it to cook a Rib Eye it smoked bad . I had to open windows and turn on air conditioner to finish cooking the steak . Not impressed or satisfied . I'll give it one more try but if it happens again I'll return it for a refund

GRANITESTONE grill failure

The grill does a great job of grilling hamburgers but the base is made of plastic which melts and fuses the grill to the base. I grilled 12 hamburgers & I couldn't remove it until I heated it up again & then the base has strings of melted plastic streaming from it. The base should be made of something like Bakelite.

after purchasing your Granitestone Smokeless Indoor/ Outdoor Grill

I used the grill to cook two steaks worked real well. Two days later after cleaning the grill I cooked two 2 2-3/4" thick pork chops after eating I attempted to clean up and was unable to disassemble the cooker and found that some of the plastic had melted and welded the cooker into a single unit. What should I do

Love it

I sold my grills, to hot in Texas to sand out and bar b cue when your old. Husband wanted Rib Eye. Amazing. Rubbed steaks with a little liquid smoke (mesquite flavor) then I rubbed with Salt Grass seasoning. Done much faster than on the gas grill. Also has the marks you get from grilled meat. Husband said thought you sold the grill this is great. He was amazed.

Bad Choice

The base is a very light weight man-made material. The grill grate surface is granite stone but the underside of the grill has a rough unfinished surface making it difficult to get clean after use. The manufacturer suggests using meats low in fat and a 1/2 cup of water in the pan under the grill to cut down on smoke while cooking. I did that. A 7 oz. prime rib steak will cause it to smoke with the small amount of fat it had on it.

Love the grill! My apartment has a smallish kitchen, and this fit perfect atop the smallish stove. I've used it several times so far to grill burgers and char veggies, and recently made chicken satay. Cooked evenly and did not give off a ton of smoke despite the marinade I used for the satay. See photos for th chicken satay. I used 6-inch skewers and they fit very well. Cleaned up easy once grill cooled. Really, broiling things does not give quite the perfect cook as a grill does. Buy it! You know you want it!

Granite was too close to plastic surrounding it while heating. Black plastic melted onto granite. Extremely difficult to remove granite from black plastic after it cooled. The granite now sits lopsided on the black plastic surrounding it. The granite is difficult to clean. After three uses, it is permanently stained with dark residue from the meat. It is impossible to clean the dark meat residue from the underside. Experienced more smoke than expected from meat while cooking.

[Rewarded Review] Unexpectedly Awesome Way to Grill

I had a couple reservations about a smokeless indoor grill. Could it really replace the real thing or was this some sort of gimmick? To my pleasant surprise, this was actually a really useful item. I live in an apartment building and sometimes it’s just too much effort or time to bring all my items and food downstairs to grill, but I still want to grill chicken or steak for a weeknight grill. This was a great replacement and actually worked effectively to great a wonderfully flavored steak. I cooks some grilled veggies and two fillets which turned out beautifully. There were real char marks on the steak and veggies. I still smelled the great aroma as I was cooking but it didn’t great a a smoky kitchen which was awesome! I’ve been considering bringing this out to the lake or on my pontoon boat.

The Granite Stone Diamond Smoke-less Grill is a nice little kitchen appliance that is extremely useful for a single person or couples (too small for a family). It is a really great idea for apartment living, or for those days that you would like grill quality food but the weather does not permit.

I have mixed feeling toward this smoke-less grill. On the positive side it is good to finally be able to grill something in our house with minimal smoke, and of course grilling in our air condintioned kitchen is way better than under the 100 degrees Florida heat. With that being said it did take a while to heat up and cook, I guess that is normal due to it being an electronic grill but I do prefer the traditional grilling as far as the cooking temperature and flavor of the food goes. However it is less hassle to set up, clean up and easy to store, so still good for occasional use.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the Granite Stone Diamond Smoke-less Grill for many reasons. No sprays or oils are needed for the grilling surface! I love how it gives you that same " grilled taste " I love without any smoke! It also leaves the grill marks on it. You could fool anyone! I didn't know it was possible to get the taste or marks from an indoor, smoke-less grill, but it totally is possible! The food is cooked PERFECT on the grill. The meat is so very tender and juicy!
