Portable car tent

Easy to put together. Instructions says there are eye holes in the side tarp panels and the was NOT. 3 weak spots at the top (its a tarp). Would not be so bad but 2 of them are pretty big

frame seems to be well built but I can't say the about the cover. I'll give it year before I have to replace it. it fits pretty tightly but that's not the issue. it's the hot sun deteriorating it. by the time winter is here I expect holes to start forming. I'm already searching for a canvas replacement to be installed next spring

HELP! The carport canopy doesn’t fit the frame, the seams are pulling out! Wow! My Costco one sitting next to it is perfect.

Mixed feelings about my purchase.

I bought the tent for my son's car and we assembled it today. The footing cap wholes didn't line up with the holes in the frame pipes. You need a drill to be able to fasten the screws in and this is not possible without a drill. Another thing, when we were tying the velcro, my son pulled the fabric and it ripped so the material itself, is not very strong. It is plastic so not sure how long it will last but for $210 it's not bad.

Carport Not the same as advertised

Your website says it is 4 way connector 1.77 inch in diameter. The 4 way connector and all of the pipe is actually 1.25 inch in diameter.

Don't waste your money!

Just be aware that what you will receive looks nothing like what is in the pictures. It is actually a cheaply made tarp strapped to poles. Within 24 hours, everywhere it straps to the poles had small holles along the stitching. Very disappointed with this purchase!

Our first canopy went up smoothly, and seemed to have decent quality for the money so we bought a second one. This one came with a pole smashed and roof top broke the first time we hooked it in.

We just put it up a week ago, tarps are already tearing where the hook s connect to the poles. And the velcro will not stay fastened. Not what I expected. Tried to add more photos but it would not upload

Gone with the wind

This portable carport sure lived up ton its name when the first wind came along. The “anchors” should be better for this size. The ground stakes are pretty thin and not much help. If they screwed into the ground it would probably hold up much better. It snaps together pretty easily. Be very careful when putting zipper sides up. The tarp ripped some when trying to attach the ties. Tarp is pretty thin and cheap considering the retail price. After about ten zips one of the zipper broke. I am starting to wonder how things could get better from here? Would I buy it again? Seriously doubt it. If I had a box to put it in I would have returned it.

Not what it seems

Much cheaper materials than appear in the picture. Already has a hole in it from just blowing in the wind. Not very sturdy.

The quality of this canopy is not as I expected. There’s very little framing making it wobbly and flimsy. The canopy is made from a Very cheap tarp. I wouldn’t suggest trying to leave it up for more the a few days. Definitely, could not use it for a long term carport canopy.

BUYER BEWARE... !!!

I ordered this to be shipped to a friend's house because she needed outside storage. They took the money and then canceled the order because they were suspicious of the activity. They didn't send me any notification by email or text and now they are making me wait 10 to 14 business days to get my money back. Walmart has the worst customer service practices I have ever seen. Chances are I will never order from them again. And my friends belongings are outside in the weather. Thank you so much for complicating everything. This is unacceptable. I want my money refunded immediately. They shouldn't have taken the money when they had already decided to cancel the order. I think I'm contacting my attorney. This isn't they've done this. But it's definitely the last. I attached a copy of the text from my bank proving they took the money .

flimsy

the tarp material is thin. the velcro is sewn to tabs that are sewn to the tarp. the tabs ripped off the tarp. the sides are all floppy now. if the velcro was pulled through islets, it might last longer

poorly made tent

i bought less than 3 months ago and the tent is already destroyed, wasnt in severe weather or anything, the tarp just ripped at all the velcro sites, and alot of the poles snapped at the welded sites. Not a good made tent. Cannot be used for long time use as a carport, it just disintegrates.

DO NOT BUY

10mph winds lifted the stakes out the ground, poled then scratched my cars paint, it knocked my motorcycle over, do not buy unless you plan to take down everytime the wind blows. (Also came ripped) had to tape it. Doors only have 3 straps not 4 (in photo), Missing one of the roof tie downs also.

Extremely POOR QUALITY

Totally dissatisfied total waste of $300. We encountered a windstorm. This tent was secured to the ground, and yet the polls at the top snapped poles in the middle snapped, and as you can see nice rip at the top too bad you can’t see the rips. Total waste of money and yet I’m still paying for it.

peice of crap

first stong wind fell over broke poles, bought longer stakes 1 ft long fixed center poles with pieces of metal frame broke in other places 6 poles broke after 2nd wind added extra stakes and lines fixed it again. 1st light snow tent fell completely in on my new dodge challenger scractched and dented the roof. biggest peice of crap i ever bought in my life. definitely was not worth the money. The tent said heavy duty, but frame completely busted tent ripped all velcro ripped and zippers broke all from a little wind and light snow

Very cheap material

I love the quick connect system, it says 50 minutes to install with 2 people but my girlfriend and I did 2 at once and it only took an hour and 20 minutes. Very easy installation! The poles are very light and thin and can’t handle barely any wind. I’ve only had it up for 4 days and a mild wind came thru last night and the anchors that came with it got pulled out from the top swaying and being top heavy. I new it wasn’t going to withstand much wind once I got it up because you could almost push it over with you hands once it was up so I added some support 2x2s to the bottom of the poles to secure them together and even screwed the bottom pole plates to the asphalt, which kept it from flying away but the poles are bent now from the top leaning in the wind. Wouldn’t spend the $200 if there’s remotely any wind.
