It works in Alaska.

The garage is great. The cover can last about 5 years before it needs to be replaced because of UV damage. At least in Alaska that is how it is. Carries a good foot of snow on it(then I knock the snow off from the inside with a custom towell on a rod tool.)

Good frame terrible cover

I have three of these. The first one lasted two years. The next two and the neighbors' one winter of light snow and little wind. They sell thicker weights but gouge you for more than double plus freight. I bought one whole kit landed for half the price of the upgraded cover.

Perfect Solution for Winter Storage

My husband set this up all on his own! He is pretty amazing, so I'm sure not everyone will be able to do the job alone. However we are super pleased with the quality and easy ordering and delivery process.

Overall good quality

Good quality. Short comings in hardware and instructions for assembly. Limited number (6) of auger anchors, should be 12. Part # stampings on tubing could be read in some cases leading to confusion and time wasted during asdsembly. Instructions state approximate time to assemble 2hrs. This not even close and is misleading.

Some minor issues, but a great solution for what I need

Some of the posts did not go together because the ends were flared and the bolt holes had some burrs that had to be filed down. Also, half of the bolts were shorter, so I had to sort them, but fortunately not all the connections required the same length, so it worked out in the end, but had I not figured that out early on it would have been very frustrating. Those were the only issues. Overall it's a very nice shelter. It's the only one on the market to my knowledge with a door over 6ft. Would buy again.

This is a beast

You need a tall step ladder to assemble this unit. Took me 3 days working leisurely. The hardest part was putting the main roof cover on. There is no way to attach the cover to the supplied rope, cover should have grommets at each corner and the middle, for ease of rope attachments. The instructions don't give you the accross the corner dimension needed to square up the frame, just the front and back corner posts dimensions. To put the cover on you must unassemble/reassemble the frame in places. Would be great if the cover had velcro straps in those places so frame didn't have to be unassembled/reassembled and velcro straps would be used in those places. Utube videos were needed to understand how the Side/door covers straps had to wrap around the frame ribs in 6 places. Very nice finished product. Got in grey color that looks brownish.

Nice temporary shelter

I have used shelter logic shelters for many years. They go up fairly quick, and do the job very well, but the cover that comes with the frame is usually the lower quality in that if you get a lot of UV will only last at most 1-2 years. You need to then order a new cover, so when you do purchase the best quality vinyl cover from them. These last for around 10-15 years usually. They are great products if you get the right combination.

Solid, Sturdy and good Quality!

The Garage-in-a-Box® SUV/Truck shed is very sturdy and solid. The directions are straight forward and very detailed. I would say that they should add one line in the instructions though, just before you install the cover "make sure gromets are facing the door". You don't realize this until you go to install the "Roll-eaze" door opener. Otherwise a great product! #Sweeps

Poor quality rods and tarp shelter logic

I purchased a Shelter Logic canopy two years ago, but it didn’t last through the second winter. A total of 12 rods are broken, and the quality of the rods was poor, as they couldn’t withstand two winters. Now, to replace the broken parts, it’s going to cost me $180, even though I originally bought the canopy for around $600. This is a significant amount, and on top of that, not all the parts are available, with some taking up to two months to arrive.
