When l first took it out of the box, l was a bit disappointed, but its performance changed my mind. I like the compact size and degree of freezing when set on auto mode. The only problem is the noise that is sometimes generated by the motor when it wants to pick up. Minus this, it is a great purchase. I can't wait to try it on the road and would recommend it.

This fridge is super quiet, super reliable, draws very little power and is rugged enough to handle some hard 4 wheeling in our Jeep. Replaced our ice chest and we love it. Should have done this sooner.

Great product. Choose cool for basic fridge stuff or freezing for making ice or freezing whatever. Highly recommend!

Dependable and efficient

We have 2 of these that we use as freezers in our 5th wheel RV. They have been flawless. We stock up of frozen foods and are able to stay off grid for weeks and have plenty of food on hand.

Doesn't Last Long for The Cost of The Product

I bought this fridge in 6/2021, now it will not cool at all. I checked the vent, the cord, power source...no issues. The issue must be with the fridge. This is my 3rd Whynter fridge in the last 3 years, I give up. I will purchase another brand.

It uses alot of juice to get to temp at 12v, so remember to use 110 to bring it to temp and add your cool stuff, before you leave the house. once its at temp and loaded up, it works great. I had to drop my truck at a shop for a few days, forgot to take this out. 4 days later it was still running on a 100ah lithium battery at 36 degrees while it was in the 90's outside!! to me that defies physics, but whatever, my beer was still cold and the mayonaisse didn't spoil!

Temperature swings 2 degrees

Submitting this review for the chance to win a sweepstakes (doubtful I'll win!). Love my new fridge. I am running it off solar in my van and it keeps really good temperatures - within about 2 degrees. Much better than my Dometic where the temperature swings were 5 degrees each way (and they said that was normal). Wish I'd gotten one with the freezer, but it was too expensive and I wouldn't use the freezer part very often!

Great except it doesn’t stay open when i put stuff in it. I think they sent me one with a busted side wire. After going through way too much to get my phone repaired, im not going to bother asking for help on this heavy item.

Love it. Glad my husband got it. It holds more than I expected. I've been using it as a deep freeze since the day we got it. It keeps my meat and popsicles and drink nice and cold at 20 degrees. We got it a month ago.

Keeps the temperature that you put it steady. The only problem to me is that it doesnt slide that easily im a truck driver and the product does as it says but in my opinion is a little to heavy to move it around in the truck and that its a little hard to slide it to the back and to the front

"GREAT FOR FISHING TRIPS IN YOUR RV"

I was needing a portable freezer that would be compact enough to fit in my motorhome for when I go fishing. I searched and found this on Home Depot's website. It was perfect in size to fit in the shower stall that is not normally used because campsites have camp toilets & showers. This refrigerator/freezer combo is perfect! Works great on 12v dc or 120v ac. I use the 12v dc mainly cause it stays running off my DC system while I'm driving down the road or parked with no AC hookup.

It was a birthday gift for a special friend that travels a lot for out sports

Purchased to use to sell ice cream at our local farmers market. It works great! Love the fast freeze feature. Takes about an hour to get to -6. Highly recommend getting the cover too.
