This shelving unit was a good value. Easy to assemble and fairly lightweight. It’s sturdy, but don’t put extremely heavy items in the center of the upper shelves. It worked out well for our purposes. We put a light coat of water based polyurethane on the mdf wood shelves to add longevity to them.

Worth the price

It's not as heavy duty so would recommend anything too heavy on it bit does great for plastic bin storage or extra appliance storage. Wear gloves when assembling it is sharp. But it worked for what I needed it for. And saved me some money.

The pieces slide together for easy assembly once you get the hang of it. I also like the versatility of the unit. Overall, get value and nice!

Great shelves

Great shelves for the garage. No screwdriver is needed to assemble the storage shelf. They are easy to assemble and seem pretty robust. I like that the shelves can be at whatever height we want and that can be changed very quickly. These shelves fit into our space well, are easily adjusted, and don't warp with the amount of weight we have on them. I actually use it in my garage for extra storage.

Not heavy duty - very thin shelfs

Looked too good to be true - should have read the reviews first. Box showed up, much smaller than I had expected, cracked it open and laughed. These shelves are basically hardboard, extremely thin, very flimsy. If you're looking for something lightweight this would probably work but it's not something I'd trust in my garage for storage of anything more than kids toys.

Not heavy duty

This shelving unit is not heavy duty. It is made from a very thin and flimsy steel that is easily bent. The shelving board is a very thin pressboard. I would not recommend for anything heavy. The paper instructions were very vague and the diagrams were blurry.

It was relatively easy to assemble and it works as intended. The only problem is the smell from the "wooden" shelves. It is terrible, like rotten meat or something. It took a few weeks to get rid of it and it was disgusting.

Poor quality

NEGATIVES: Thin metal bends easily, poor design, difficult to put together, separates easily as few pieces can be locked in place such as the shelves, too many pieces especially for the main supports which are the legs, nothing supplied to earthquake proof, and extremely poor directions.
