The design is Nice. QUALITY is very cheap and Not very comfortable in the seat Thin cushioned. Basically if your planning to use them as a quick stop & temporary solution then "okay" for this. HOWER if your wanting to purchase 3 or more for a nice Island seating area I wouldn't they will not last. Had to purchase another set within SIX months. Also the all black metal versions the colors is a DULL black vs. the other types of metals being sold now. NO I DO NOT Recommend based upon the comfortable seating is not here cushions are to thin.

Love this Gray Fabric adjustable Barstool

I really like this new barstool, I only needed one for my little coffee nook. I can now read, work, eat breakfast or a meal in this little nook, it's comfortable and it adjusts so I can sit high at the counter and work/eat and then put it low for my senior active cat to jump up to eat his food at all times during the day, where the dog cannot reach it. I got the light gray fabric and was mulling over the bright orange vinyl, which is so cool, I say go for it. Modern and sophisticated and also retro in Orange. I plan to move again soon and if I do I will either purchase additional gray fabric ones for my island or I will go for the vinyl in bright Orange. I also like the silver base as well. You won't be disappointed.

The fabric bunches up in places so it’s not perfect, but it’s great for the price. Adjustable height and swivels well. Packaging was fine and no noticeable damage. I’m happy with it!

Great Bar Stool for Average Size Adults

It appears to be well made, is easy to put together, and is adjustable. However, the seat width is not for LARGE adults. I wear an XL to 2X, in Women's Wear, and it is very snug, would not be comfortable to sit in for long. Take that into account if ordering. All in all, is well worth the money I paid, a great extra seat for company.

I received a total of 4 chairs and only 1 chair was perfect. The other 3 chairs had these terrible wrinkles on the edge of the opening curve. (An obvious defect). Overlook was very good in accommodating me in an exchange. Hopefully the new chairs will not be like that. Otherwise the chairs are beautiful.

I bought these chairs with the impression they would be white. Upon receiving the chairs, I opened the boxes and noticed the chairs were not white as I had expected. They were an off white, almost tan. I was highly disappointed in the purchase. If I were overstock, I would not advertise these as white chairs. They clearly are an off white/oyster color. Once again, the white chairs are not white as shown in the picture.

Saved My Back

I recently was diagnosed with spinal stenosis and degenerative disc disease. I do a lot of standing when I am cooking (which I enjoy). We have a tiled kitchen floor and added a mat for comfort about four years ago. However, after standing about an hour I have difficulty moving. I ordered this chair precisely because it has a back. I have much less pain an tension in my back now that I am using this chair. It's very comfortable.

Nice barstools.

Very easy to assemble. I myself assembled them within an hour. Not sure why, three of them arrived one day, I got a notification all of my delivery arrived while the fourth chair arrive a few days later. The reason I removed one star was because occasionally it was not smooth to lift it up and down. It felt a bit glitchy. Overall a comfortable and visually pleasuring barstools.

Nice modern option

The stools look great with our island, are solidly built, and swivel very smoothly. They fit the bill. Only downsides: the seat is a little narrower than expected, they show fingerprints constantly, and the edge of the footrest isn't as comfortable as rounded models. We still really like them.

You Will Regret Purchase

Hey you get what you pay for...a tired saying, however tried and true. The bar stools are cheap; the quality poor. The seats are small and snug, the foot rest digs into your feet and the chairs tip. Are you sure these are for adults? Or perhaps are you partial to the super skinny? Plus, Overstock claims that returns are a simple process....uh no it is not. I'm quite angry that I may be stuck with these unsafe, ugly bar stools. Also the Grey Fabric is not as light like shown in the picture. My advice...don't buy anything from Overstock. Try to buy things that are sold from places that have both online and a physical store so you can return if needed.

Can't rate these because I refused the package to get the black ones but will rate them very comfortably made. Great job. Solid chairs. even have a footrest which I love. Thanks for inventing these. I gave them a five for the meantime. I hope they last me a long time. I changed my mind to the black ones because black is a good way to match whatever decor I decide to change in the future. I don't call black a color because black is the absence of color. To me, black is a shade, not a color. But I love it cause goes with anything you change your mind when decorating your kitchen over and over. Thanks yall. Everyone be safe and blessed in this era. Cute but not comfy

I just received this barstool today. I ordered it in red faux leather to accent my new kitchen colors, and it is a beautiful bright clear red. Assembly was extremely easy — only requiring four screws and the use of an Allen wrench, both of which were included. The hydraulic mechanism for raising and lowering the height of the seat worked flawlessly without any adjustment on my part. The width and depth of the seat is very generous and should accommodate most everyone. The barstool is quite heavy and feels sturdy and secure. It seems to be constructed entirely of metal/chrome parts, except for the generously padded faux leather chair portion. I saw no plastic parts whatsoever, which accounts for it’s weight and solid feel. There is a mostly hidden zipper on the chair which I assume would allow for the removal of the red faux leather cover, although I don’t know why anyone would want to remove it. Cleaning would only involve a quick wipe-down with a damp cloth. I chose this barstool after looking at similar ones on Overstock as well as other online sites after comparing, customer reviews, available colors, shipping cost and price. I believe this barstool is the best choice for me, and I am very happy with my purchase. It arrived by FedX 4 days after I ordered it. It was well-packed and arrived in perfect condition. I consider it a great buy and recommend its quality without hesitation. UPDATE: After using this barstool for several months, I am lowering my review to 4 stars, because the footrest makes it uncomfortable. Unless you are VERY tall, you will need to use the footrest so that your legs don’t dangle, and you won’t slide out of the seat. Two things seem to be responsible for the footrest fail. First of all, the chrome bars of the footrest are rectangular and have edges that dig into your feet. Before long, you will be putting on protective shoes before sitting in it again. Second, the footrest would be much more comfortable if it wasn’t placed so far behind the position of your own feet. In other words, you must bend your feet and legs too far backward in order to use the footrest. Other than the comfort issue involving the footrest, the chair seems to be holding up quite well. You need to polish the chrome pedestal a few times a week if you have pets like I do. The vinyl or vegan leather is wearing nicely and appears to be fairly heavy. I have a growing kitten that is 4 months old. I got him at 6 weeks, and his favorite thing to do is scratch things — like my red barstool and ME! Although he has put 100s of pin prick holes in the red vinyl, none have split or become a large hole. When I figure out what to do about Neko (that’s his Japanese name. It supposedly means something similar to boy cat or male cat.)
