Come up with your own file storage solution

For something that is labeled file storage I thought there would be rails for hanging files. This ottoman is large enough to accommodate files, but you have to come up with something to either hang files from or small boxes to put files in.

A well made product. Just what my granddaughter wanted for her desk. Plenty of space for files and art supplies. I liked it so much, I am getting one for me.

Perfect Addition

I needed an ottoman to match an existing grey sofa bed and this matched perfectly. It's the perfect height to put your feet on and very comfortable and good size storage.

Very Pleased

I have a home office into which crept a sewing machine. I wanted the ottoman for my feet for long phone calls and the storage to get the sewing machine off my desk. The same item was available from *** for about *** less but the same item shipped from *** was being shipped with the casters on and nearly all the reviews said at least one caster was broken, problems getting the casters replaced, etc. The reviews of this item on Overstock were for subjective things like the feel of the fabric, difficulty installing the casters, so I took a chance, paid the extra *** and am glad I did! No damage to the box or the ottoman. The ottoman was covered in a lightweight non-woven fabric with elastic around the bottom to hold it on. The fabric feels and looks nice; everything is padded. Casters were easy to put on, instructions were in English and although the casters, washers and wrench tool were in a separate bag tied to a hinge, there was an additional wrench taped to the inside of the box. If you need the full inside dimensions listed, be sure to allow for the space the hinges take -- I didn't know to do that but got lucky and was able to push the sewing machine forward (see photo) to give clearance for the hinges. I had checked the weight limit to be sure the sewing machine wouldn't be too heavy, but never thought about someone sitting on it --and it really lends itself to that but it's only good for 130 lbs and even I weigh more than that, so heads up if you plan to use it as seating in addition to storage.

Fast, attractive, good quality

I searched for a long while and this product had all the features for which I was looking. The wheels do have to be attached, and by the fourth one I found the easy way to do it. 😊 The quality is good and the item is very attractive.

Like the ottoman. Broken wheel

The ottoman itself is great. Nice fabric. Well built. One of the plastic wheel casters was delivered broken. Does not come with file frame for file folder storage. Overall, will do the job, just extra work... not bad for price

This is an excellent item. I purchased it for my son's room to store all his small stuffed animals, and it exactly fits under a small white IKEA kids' desk and doubles as his seat at the desk. Very pleased with it.

No way to hang hanging folders. More storage ottoman than file storage. But found way to make it work.

The file cabinet is nice looking and seems pretty sturdy. The fabric is nice enough too for office use- however I was sad to see this does not actually include file hanging racks inside of it. It is essentially a storage ottoman and not a "file storage ottoman." If you want to hang files in it, you must buy and install your own rails for the files. Very annoying- not what it is described as- only theee stars for this reason.

This is a great solution for small spaces. I bought this one specifically for files, but may go ahead and purchase a second for other storage. I purchased the blue color, and to me it matches the pictures very well. It looks great and seems quite sturdy- it's currently in an entryway and I sit on it to don my shoes. I'm very happy with this purchase!

Looks good and works well to store blankets, pillows or whatever you need. Top stays open to help you remove or add items without have to hold the lid open.

Nice way to conceal your files and keep your office space tidy. Comes already put together and ready to use. Love the choices of colors. Can’t wsit to start using this.
