Reviews

This product seems promising but the battery life is absolutely terrible. It’s not rechargeable so you are replacing the batteries at least once every couple of weeks. After about a week and a bit of consistently using it, it would start to shut off after 30 seconds - 5 minutes. The design is cute and it is super durable. I do like that you can attach it to your stroller, diaper bag etc. but the portable hatch machine is better as it is rechargeable. There are multiple settings on this device, (white noise music) I use it for the white noise.

Amazing

We had the exact same one for our first baby and five years later he still uses it to fall asleep. We decided to buy the same one for our second baby who seems to love it just as much. It is cute and easy to carry around, the choice of lullabies or white noise is great and it doubles as a night light.

We have used ours for two years and love all the features-soft light, variety of sounds/melody and on off feature.. My son loves this owl. We bought this 2 years ago and is used nightly. It has multiple sounds and light configurations. It plays all night unless you set the timer. You can use it just as a night lite also. Its very good product, my son always turn on 7 days a week and 24 hours a day

Doesn’t work!

Worst purchase ever made unsure how to return it!! It turns off by itself even after being in infinity time. Light sucks and stars projector is poor for the kind of price I paid I expect a ton more!

The sound is not as loud as I would like, I can still hear everything clear as day in the next room. I feel like after 4 months of use it has gotten quieter that it originally was. Other than that this is so cute and I love all the different features, from a dimmer night light to a star projector. This has 4 music options and 4 white noise options with the ability to keep it on loop all night or 15/30/60 minutes at a time. Not bad overall just wish it was louder

VOLUME IS TERRIBLE

I have always loved this for my kids, but the newer ones don't have a volume that increases the way the older ones do. This is SO frustrating. Go back to your older model and let us know when you've changed it back!!!

Returned

I spent $40 on this in the store and was not impressed with the sound quality. It sounded too harsh and scratchy for a baby. I ended up returning and bought a DreamEgg noise machine for $30 which had a much nicer sound and helps my daughter fall asleep nicely.

[Rewarded Review] Night light goes out and bulb can’t be changed

I have purchased two of these in the last 12 months both have had the night light and projector go out at the same time. (The lullaby and white noise still work) you can just simply change a bulb.

We love it, 4-1/2yrs strong!

We’re about to have our third baby and I was looking at sound machines again. Idk why, but since I have this one and it had several negative reviews, I was curious why. We’ve had ours since my first child was a newborn and he’s nearly 4-1/2. It’s worked wonderfully for us and we’ve never had an issue. I saw some people say it didn’t work after a few months. I wonder if it was a bad batch? Idk, ours is going strong over 4years now haha just thought I’d throw that out as a positive!

Not a quality item

The sound machine puts out the worst versions of White Noise I've ever heard from a digital sound machine. Additionally, it generates blue light. There's really no excuse for producing something like that, other than just mass cheap production, without consideration for quality. If you should have your power blip on, you expect this machine to default to a horrible, jarring, lullaby tune. Additionally, if your child looks into the top light, which makes the stars, they could definitely damage their vision. I would definitely not recommend buying the sound machine for your baby or anyone else

Cute but not very loud/brigh

I got this as a gift, and have been using it for a little over 6m. The owl design and the star projection are very cute. But, the nightlight is not very bright and the white noise setting is fairly quiet (especially when compared to the lullaby setting.) If you don't need loud white noise or a night light, then this will be fine for you. Otherwise it might be better to get something else

Great value!

Pros: lightweight, USB plug-in, multiple sounds and light settings to choose from, and can set the length of time or choose infinite. I also like how you can move the projector to different positions. Cons: the projector of lights is static. I wish it spun in circles or moved in some way. As some said before, the speakers are not “clear” so it does sound static-y. For $32 I wasn’t expecting superior sound quality. I think it adds to the “white noise” effect. It also isn’t over powering. My daughter’s room is small and the sound levels are adjustable. Her room is carpeted and doesn’t echo, so even on the highest setting it wasn’t disturbingly loud. I could see this being an issue if the room was larger and without carpeted floors. To be honest, a great value at the price.
