Nice shakers, work well

I must have gotten a newer, poorly built made in China version when compared to other reviews. The base falls off, and under examination has no feasible way of being remotely secure. When carrying / moving the bottom falls off spilling peppercorns everywhere. You'd have better luck lifting a car with a strip of worn out, wet masking tape. Flimsy plastic compression tabs appear to not be long enough to click in a secure manner. Even if it 'worked' it is a horrible design, compression fitting the bottom means eventually it will, with no doubt, make a mess. If you use a compression fitting in this manner, put it at the top- nothing falls out all over and it could still be functional.

Beautiful but not sturdy

Their are nice the tulips do come off very very easy it’s doesn’t tighten.

Haven't stood the test of time

I bought these 8 months ago. Quite quickly after the S and P on the tops started to wear off. The S has now gone completely and the P just about shows. The top section to the pepper is not tight. So if someone picks it up by the top the bottom falls off. Especially when full of pepper. They are both difficult to fill without wasting. Have decided if I can find the receipt I will take them back as I don't feel they are value for money. On the plus side, they look good!

Worth it for the pepper mill alone

Just what I was looking for! A quality stainless steel grinding mechanism for the pepper mill (conical burrs for all the coffee nerds out there) packaged in a simple, sleek wooden shell. Pumps out a lot more pepper per twist compared to my old ceramic grinder!

Works well. I used them at a friend’s house, and immediately loved them.

These look great and grind perfectly! Have had many S&P shakers over the years, but have never had any that can grind as finely.

Love the look and feel of these Salt and Pepper shakers, however the salt spills out at the bottom, leaving residue on the dining table.

S&P Mills are a nice set

Nice set, not awkward to use. I don't like that the top pops off to fill without a lock of some sort.

These grinders have been a nice addition to our dinner table, however, I wish the adjustment on the pepper would allow a bit more to be dispensed. All in all, they do work.
