Peru Cut Geo Comforter

I loved this comforter online, but when it arrived I was very disappointed! The white embroidery looks really bad up close. The embroidery is sparse and missing in some areas. I was willing to overlook this because from far away you can’t tell. But the fabric is very poor quality. Another reviewer noted that the fabric feels like canvas and I would agree. It is scratchy.

Looks cheap in person

Not completely happy with this duvet and shams. Note, the bottom closures are BUTTONS which is not stated. The material underneath is uncomfortable and scratchy. The top is rough and not even aesthetically pleasing. The white decorative threads look accidental like if they were stitched on then cut. After washing and drying there’s loose threads. Overall not happy with the appearance or the texture. I’ll keep it as my back up when washing my other bedding or for the guest bed.

Beautiful duvet cover

I’ve had this about a month. Goes very well with the modern farmhouse look I’m trying to create. I have washed it once (thank you pets) and it washed very well. I also added the decorative pillows and opted to get them in ivory for contrast. And another ivory quilt for layering that I also purchased via Kohl’s.

Neutral, pretty piece

Lilac color of clipped jacquard is VERY subtle, which could be disappointing if you want something distinctly in that color family. However, it also lends more neutrality and flexibility to the piece since the color could appear more gray or even light beige depending on the other colors of your bed or bedroom! Background color is off-white. Fabric feels slightly coarse at first, but definitely softens with wash & use. It gives the appearance of an organic cotton piece and so perhaps lends an easy-but-expensive look (think clothing items you'd pick up at Whole Foods). Fit is fine once your duvet is secured in place at each corner by the four internal corner ties (your actual duvet will need corner loops: I cut 2-inch strips from apron ties & hand-stitched them onto mine, which took me about an hour). No pillow shams come with this queen-size cover, which is a shame 😕 I believe the sham is sold separately at a price that seems discordant with the price of the cover. There is a matching curtain (Porch & Den Narup curtain panel), sold singly, if you're interested in completing the look. All in all, pleasant, neutral piece that looks and seems to be good quality so far.

Very Nice Duvet, but no shams!!

Very pretty, good quality duvet, but it does not come with pillow shams, unlike most duvet sets, And apparently other vendors do include the shams with the duvet or comforter. I had to order the shams separately, although the description just says “sham,” so I don’t yet know if I’ll be getting one or two shams for a highly ridiculous price. I love Kohl’s, but this product is a disappointment in that it seems like they’re just finding tricky ways to get more of your money.
