More Dish Racks & Drying Mats

Reviews

I saw this at my daughters home and loved the "stone" colour and the smaller size plus the drain option. I LOVE it. The addition of being able to make it smaller and it is not as big as my old kitchen drainer. I also bought on sale but Joseph Joseph is a quality product in this and everything else I've ever bought. Would definitely recommend. So nice to have a different colour choice available too JJ.

Perfect !

This dish drainer is perfect for everyday use, it comes apart completely, holds alot for its compact size, even more when expanded. All my dishes & extras are held nicely, nothing falls out. Great utensil holder. The stone/green colors are lovely and quiet and should compliment any decor/style. I've spent a small fortune on dish drainers in the past few years, nothing compares with this one except the Joseph Joseph stainless steel expandable dish drainer which I also have for holidays/big cooking projects, etc

Quick to setup, store and clean. It has a nice amount of space for pots, pans, dishes, plate and and holder for cutlery. It has a good design where it has a spout to let of the excess water. Just don't purchase the metal version of this as it has a design flaw where it leaks rather out of the spout but in the interconnection of the section which they haven't fixed yet.

5 stars for the idea, 1 star for rusting and price

We've had this rack for a few years. Overall, I like the design and the usability, but very disappointed that the metal parts of the rack have started to disintegrate. This leaves a crumbling rust on the plastic, which is potentially contaminating clean items on the rack. For the huge expense of this product, I would expect it to perform better than this. JosephJoseph don't offer a rack replacement, so if you need to replace it - yup, that's another £65 (plus more for future price increases). Even worse, I don't need the plastic bit replaced. Replacing that just adds to the mountain of plastic garbage we are already producing. I just need a new rack. Come on guys, be sustainable, please.

Expensive but does the job

We bought this for our new wood worktops. We were advised by our carpenter that drainage grooves in the wood are pretty useless and just result in sodden wood. This protects the worktop 100%, is extendable and drains into the sink. Expensive, but not compared to a new oak worktop!

Well thought out

I bought this recently, the main reason being I needed a drainer with rubber feet as my new stainless steel draining board marks very easily. My only complaint, apart from it being rather expensive, is that the good design doesn't really extend to the cutlery holder. Unfortunately this is very awkward to clean thoroughly owing to the way if fits on the draining area.

Great For Small Spaces

Great little dish drying rack for small spaces. We've had it for years but we never really use the extending part as it doesn't have a rack on that bit and i find it gets pretty dirty/grimy quickly. It's a bit difficult to clean so I try to scrub it with vinegar occasionally. Like others have mentioned it can get a bit mouldy around the spout and the spout also tends to fall out easily.

Best dish drainer I ever bought

I’ve never reviewed a dish drainer before - but this one is so good. Can change the size to fit your space. The part that holds the dishes is perfectly designed so plates stay in place (unlike my old one where they just fell over unless placed just so). And- I no longer need to endlessly clean limescale off my nice new sink’s own draining space, because this one traps water and funnels it down into the sink. Can’t recommend it enough.

Excellent dish & glass drainer - well designed

Excellent product. Quality construction, and exactly as described.

Adaptable & sturdy

Very sturdy — perhaps a little too much so for the "plug" (just visible in green under a glass in the photo), which required hefty pliers to rotate! No evidence of leakage from under the chute.
