Sheen and softness, well sewn edges. Get a pad!
This rug has sheen and softness. The viscose fibers shine while the coarse wool forms the base of the weave. However, you will need a thick, high quality rug pad. When I placed it on a wood floor, and then on a thin spongy pad, it was still a slip hazard. I invested in a thick felt pad with rubber backing and that did the trick. Love the look!

After purchasing a lot of wool rugs that shed, I decided to purchase this rug based on the material composition. It is a nice design. Monochromatic but bold. It is very light. A rug pad will Make it bulky. Best to use carpet tape to keep it in place as or shifts alot.
High quality and beautiful
It's absolutely beautiful and such high quality. It arrived in perfect condition. I'd recommend putting it in a low-traffic area or not allowing shoes....it does tend to get dirty easily.

Beautiful rug. The color changes a bit from one side to the other. It is more gray and cream from one direction (like the photo); gray and dark gray from the other angle. I have the rug in my office and it is easy to roll my chair on it.

Nice rug! Color is as pictured. Only problem is viscose is hard to clean so be sure not to spill anything on the rug. I would not buy this rug again for that reason.
