Poorly designed and prepared for the end user. Very few US purchasers of these steps will have the required 3.5mm and 5mm drill bits and a rubber mallet. At least convert these bit sizes to a fractional equivalent. Even predrilling screw holes with the nearest number drill (#9 at .196" vs 5mm at .197" and #29 at .136" vs 3.5mm at .138"), about 1/3 of the screws stripped out of the plastic.
Was not hard to assemble as some have said. I will admit the instructions could be better. Love the step and the storage it provides. Great purchase.
