Love it!

Beautiful! Not sure about quality (how long will it last?) But for now Im enjoying it! I added my cobalt blue glass rocks, purchased separately to the lava rock that it came with. Also got extra cover (shower curtain) under the original cover that came with for double protection at rainy days.

Disappointed

This arrived without the propane tank cover, which is shipped in a separate box. I called Walmart to try and get the second box shipped out and I could not without returning the entire thing. My only options were to pack the giant fire pit back into the box somehow that was destroyed when I opened it and take it to the nearest FedEx. It weighs about 100lbs and the box is huge. I was not able to return this to a regular Walmart store, and they would not ship the new one until this one was received back in their warehouse. They also would not ship the second box separately. It is a nice looking firepit for the price, but it came incomplete and scratched, and I paid to get myself into the giant hassle of returning it. I would not recommend.

Nicer than expected. It actually includes 2 bags of red lava stones and a waterproof cover. Used it few times so far. The electric ignition starter seems to work well for now. I always shut off the gas directly from the tank to empty any gas in the line. I was initially planning to set the tank and cover next to the firepit, so the gas line would be invisible, but the gas tank requires to be at least 60" from the pit. It seems a little overkill, as the pit doesn't generate much heat, but I complied and use the tank cover as a side table. I also kept the large styrofoam sheet to place under the cover, to protect against any damage to the top. I ended up replacing the red rocks for gray round lava rocks that look much more contemporary and do not contain red dust

Great Pit

i love the fire pit. it has been a huge hit on my deck. However the cover that was provided is not water proof and i now have water damage on the actual pit. Please be sure to get a separate water proof cover.

Easy set up and looks great. Comes with a cover! Only negative is I wish the metal were thicker so it looked less flimsy. It's not bad though.
