We bought two of these bench/ottomans for our guest rooms - they are the perfect size to store extra pillows and a blanket while also serving as a place for guest to set their luggage. I am very happy with the cream color - it will work with any future color changes I make to the bedrooms. We received these in a timely fashion. No issues with packaging,

Great large ottoman for a great price!

Great ottoman for the price! I had a smaller one for years, that looked exactly like this one, and searched for a long time for a replacement. Great workmanship and looks great in my space. I am able to store almost double the blankets as compared to the smaller one. Very happy with my purchase and highly recommend.

Beautiful sleek and timeless style AND practical.

This is a very nice Ottoman. We bought the faux leather cream style. Timeless looking and could be used anywhere in the house really. The storage space is very practical. The shape is sleek. It is easy to open and close for our young daughter to use for her toys. It came well packed in a plastic sleeve in a box. No damages. We are very pleased. PS The carpet in the pic is also Overstock !

very nice

This storage ottoman is very nice. I like the size of the bench and it provides a good amount of storage. It has an elegant look and the picture depicts the true color. I was about to purchase this exact item from Amazon but decided to check Walmart.com. I was super excited to find it here for $40 less. I ordered it immediately and it arrived the next day! I am very pleased with my purchase.

Elegant and comfortable

Love the length so that my mother, daughter, and I can all prop our feet comfortably while watching our favorite Netflix shows instead of having to share our old small round one. Much more comfortable on the hips and back. ;) I also love being able to store blankets inside! The cream is a beautiful neutral. It has a slight sheen to it, almost like a muted patent, but I feel that adds to the elegance of the look.

Bad Purchase

DO NOT PURCHASE. The hinges on this bench will not allow the top to open less than halfway, so you basically have to be on your knees to put anything or get anything out. I purchased this exact same bench 4-5 years ago and the hinges allowed the top to open fully, so I know this is not how it is supposed to work. The reason I had to purchase a second bench is the faux leather was peeling and I needed the exact dimensions to fit in a certain area. I am returning this product and will not purchase again.

Stiff Lid!

Beautiful color and easy to assemble. If you are looking to store a lot of heavy blankets and or pillows you may need something more like a trunk. It's kind of narrow inside for think blankets. But if you need a small footprint and an inexpensive piece with a little extra storage it's great! My only BIG complaint is that the lid does not open all the way up. It is very inconvenient. Not enough to go through the hassle of returning as I am alone. Maybe I can get a handy guy to fix it. But it is a pain thus the 3 stars. Still I'd recommend it if you don't have a lot spend and really need something. I had originally wanted it for a toy chest to store toys for my grandchildren when they came to visit but as the lid won't open high enough this won't work.

Not worth the hassel

I am so disappointed. I ordered it to hide toys in our livingroom and in time just before our kids birthday party with having a bunch of guests over. I was so excited once I got the delivery notification to get home and start organizing. The box was in great shape so I opened it up. (Note: Do not destroy the box when opening because if something is wrong, you will need to ship it back. Luckily, I didn't tear it apart too bad.) The exterior of the bench was in as expected quality for the price point. I was pleased until I opened it up and seen the interior. It was a disaster and very poorly put together. The fabric all along the back bottom side was pulled out and the corner was pushed in, fabric torn off with the cardboard siding completely exposed. The front side wasn't near as bad but still cardboard exposed in one corner.

it's beautiful and constructed really good. it looks great in my bedroom and will get 2 more for my kids rooms. The storage is pretty deep and the width is wider than I expected, but that is great. I have been able to store a lot of items in this and still got room for more stuff. I have had several compliments and I have not had it very long. The lid is attached thankfully and you can really use this as an display if needed. I will and have recommended this to several people already.

These storage ottomans are perfect. They make great extra seating and they hold alot of items out of the way. They look great in our home and make our home more clutter free! Definitely a good buy. The hinges are already installed upon delivery, all you need to do literally is screw in the 4 legs, it takes about a minute. They are light enough (without all your clutter, lol) to move around easily enough. I have place the two I purchased under a corner window, one under each side and it looks magnificent. Nicely made product and you you can't go wrong!

The Simpli Red Ottoman

This is a stylish ottoman with plenty of storage! The ottoman is redder than it looks online, in person it looks more like a tomato red.
