Disappointed

The construction of this filing cabinet is plastic, which is not a problem prior to purchase, but when I received it I could see that it was poorly constructed plastic. The top plastic cover of the cabinet is different that the remaining cabinet panels. The top plastic panel cover is thinner and appears to be glued on. It does what it's suppose to do and that's to store your documents, but if you're looking for real security, this cabinet is not the one. Easy breakable plastic if you lose your keys to the filing drawers, but also easy to break into if you plan to store something of value. I cannot honestly recommend this filing cabinet to anyone.

Not for heavy or secure

This is an okay filing cabinet, but it pops together (and apart) really easily. It's really lightweight. It'd be fine for organizing a small number of papers - maybe for a coloring book file if your kids have a lot of coloring books. But for paperwork, etc. while the value seems great on the surface, it probably won't hold up over time. I moved my files toward the back while looking for one in particular and the whole thing tipped over.
