Great quality, easy to install

We just bought this product about a month ago after having to cut the old lock out of our wood door. This product works great to cover the hole in our front door! Great product -it sure beats the pair of socks we had stuffed in the hole before.

This door hole cover did exactly what I was expecting it to do. It covered the unused dead bolt hole on my inside vestibule door.

Simple assembly onto door. Covered door hole perfectly and I was able secure ornamental door handle over plate assembly.

Cover the whole perfectly the one thing I would suggest is removing the inside mechanism not leaving it in place

Needed to fill a precut standard knob set hole in a door where I had installed an antique decorative knob set. I had considered cutting a round block of wood to glue in place then shave/sand down in wood filler to blend it in and then repainting. This device was inexpensive and easy enough to install. It is about 1/16 inch thick so the antique knob set and fancy brass plate did not lay flat at first. So I scored around the edge of the plate on both side of the door and shaved 1/16 in of wood around the edge of the hole. With it inset it blends right into the door, sealing the hole and providing a flat surface for the fancy antique knob. A bit of white touch up paint will make it nearly invisible.

Worked well and did it's job.
