What to do?

Nice ironing board!

Just opened up/set up the wide top ironing board, and I like it so far. I put on a thicker pad (sold separately,) and will need to iron out the fold marks on the underside of the pad, Right now it feels lumpy. I bought this to iron Percale sheets, and if that sounds like a scene from a horror movie where tedium is the killer, I have found that ironing sheets is pretty relaxing. I drape them from the board to the bed, so they never touch the floor. The larger surface of this board will help with that! The bracket to hold the iron is soldered on but I haven't tried that yet. It feels balanced also.

This product was difficult to open. The materials were very poor quality and the foam was extremely thin. On top of all of that the legs were completely lopsided. It definitely was not worth the money paid for it.

Poor quality and not functional

If I could give this ironing board a 0 or negative star review, I would. The second time I used it I could not get it to close. After some fiddling with it I managed to get the mechanism to release so I could close it. After less than 6 months of infrequent use (once a week or less), it become stuck open again and no amount of cajoling, even using tools could get it to close again. This is yet another example of poor quality. We had an ironing board which lasted for more than 20 years which cost less than half the price of this one. It looks great, but if it doesn't function it is a waste of money. Out to the curb it goes for trash pick-up and I guess I'll just have to live with wrinkles till the COVID lock-down ends.

Question

How do i adjust the height of this table?

Really Poor Construction

Good design, really poor construction. Would not unfold. Had to bend the catch metal tab so it would open. Then stood it on the floor and it rocked back and forth. Only three legs would touch at a time, the fourth leg was 3/8" off the floor. Going to put a couple levels on it and cut one of the legs so it sits on all four. Just poor construction.

Worth it

I love the adjustable height so I don’t have to hunch over so much. The shelf is handy but not very strong.

The mesh under the pad is made of a cheap material. If you use a steam iron it begins to rust and disintegrates. In my board the whole middle has rusted and disintegrated and there is a big hole in the center of the ironing board. It cannot be used anymore after about a year

Wobbles, all 4 legs don't touch the ground

Way wobbly, the legs don't all touch the ground at the same time. I bought one and one leg was half an inch or so off, it got slightly better after I let it stand open over night, but for an almost $50 purchase I decided to return it and get one that was proper. Except the second one I bought had a leg that was about 4 inches off from the rest of them, there is no way in heck I would ever put a hot iron on something so rickety. I really loved the size of this board and the shelf under it, and I am angry it didn't work because I can't find a comparable ironing board with all the features this one has. I just wish they made it so the legs weren't so wonky!

Very happy

It’s a little bit wider than normal. It has a place for hanger ( next to the place we put iron) which makes it very convenient

Label Was Glued to Iron Cover

This ironing board seems sturdy and well built. It's extra-wide which helps when ironing large pieces of fabric. There's an iron nesting area with space for spray starch and water bottles as well as an underneath 'hold' area for ironed shirt/pants.

I LOVEEEE my ironing board

This is the best board I have had in many years, very sturdy, wide and love the Iron rest.I also got a Household Essentials wide Top Ironing board cover to put double padding on my ironing board , the way I LIKE it. Both are worth every penny. Great purchase.

Ironing board

This ironing board is very nice, not wobbly, easy to use, and the cover and pad are nice and thick. I like it very much. However, I am unhappy with Better Homes and Gardens. On a card with the ironing board, the company states that qualifying purchases get a year's subscription to Better Homes and Gardens magazine, a $6 value. In very small print, the company states that, if you don't want the subscription, you can obtain a $6 refund by submitting proof of purchase. In other words, you pay for the subscription without your knowledge. Decide for yourself whether this is acceptable before you purchase this company's products.

A wider surface

I am a large woman and really appreciate the wide board; it makes a quicker job of ironing my clothes. The board is sturdy and easy for me to move around. I really like this product.

Love this ironing board

I am a quilter and need a wide board. This is wide and adjustable. The first adjustable I have ever had. I am 85 and had trouble standing but now it doesn't bother me. Love it! Love it! Would highly recommend it. Also ordered an extra cover so I will have it when I need it.

Wide adjustable ironing board

I found this item very useful. Unlike other items on market this has firm grip , space to keep all clothes and iron box. Board is wide enough for different sized clothes.

Nice wide, stable ironing board and decent price

This is a perfect size for me. I sew and have to press large amounts of fabric. The size allows me to get the job done faster.
