This bed is pretty much what was expected as far as quality. It is totally unassembled but fairly easy to manage. The big problem was with the parts in the box. Some were damaged beyond acceptability ...cracked all the way through. I am faced with ordering another bed to return the original as the customer service number and website contact never returned with any communication.
Love the bed so far. It did take a long time to put together though-an electric drill is alot faster than a Phillips screwdriver
It's a complicated assembly process with ~40 screws. One of the bedrails was defective, cracking in the middle. The manufacturer replaced it with no problem other than having to remove and replace 18 of the screws. The bed is a nice kids bed, though.
