works great for outside garage entry door

worked perfect for a gift for my son, he lives in a condo that has a pull in garage so always taking shoes off in garage. seat works great to sit on and the storage holds his numerous shoes to keep "outside". easy to assemble.

Love the bench. Had shoes here, there, everywhere. Now all nice and tidy and plus a bench to sit on to take them on/off. Install easy but helps if there are two of you. Recommend using wood glue on seams with the /screws/nails they provide. Have found the combination really makes furniture sturdy with no wiggle. Only complaint would be I wish the cushion was thicker - ok.

A good value for the price. I wouldn't let my kids jump around and play on it, but it is a great place for shoes, backpacks and gym/sports bags.

Good quality

This is a very cute bench with lots of storage. The only down side is the slots are a little narrow. They work for most shoes but boots have to be on top of each other to fit in the slot. Otherwise perfect! Easy to put together.

Like the look and function, disappointing quality

This has been my least favorite product that I've bought from Overstock. It was difficult to assemble. There was a support missing. I had to put it together and couldn't wait for replacement parts. It looks okay.

Bench

This is good for what you pay but the pins that hold the shelves fall out & the shelves fall down. You can put a little glue on the pins & it's fine. Won't stage up to a lot of use.

Great addition for mud room

Holds our tall mud boots and shoes in the mud room and work room without taking up too much space. Left out a couple of divider sets to fit more boots. These are sturdy, look good, and great quality. Highly recommend. Easy to assemble if you have the tools and follow the directions.

This is a great entry room/mud room addition. It was easy to put together and is sturdy... I weigh 190 and it's solid. I wouldn't stand on it, but sitting to put on shoes , it works. The finish is durable and will be easy to clean, as well as resist wet shoe damage. It was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Overstock!

This thing is probably the best purchase I've made since our home renovation. It's really sturdy, well made and exactly as it looked online. The bench has so much space AND a place to sit to take your shoes off that not one person in my family can have an excuse not to take their shoes off. If it matches your decor buy it, you wont be displeased.

I'm very happy with this bench. It's solid, the color is great, I didn't notice any issues with the finish. I'd say it's more of a bluish grey. The finish is also kind of plastic-y so it's easy to clean dirt off of it with a wet rag, and I don't have to worry about the paint chipping off. The cushion fabric is nice, and I think it's a appropriate amount of padding for an entryway bench. We don't really sit on it too much because we always have stuff on it, but if you're good at keeping it cleaned off, unlike me, it works for sitting and putting on your shoes. My husband spent awhile putting it together, at least an hour if I remember correctly. He had to re-drill some of the holes a bit to get it to fit, a little sanding too I think, which I believe others have mentioned in their reviews. It's typical for mass produced, put-together furniture, and you kind of just expect that. Overall we're happy.

The bench was damaged, so we were unable to put it together.

They sent two number 6 panels instead of a number...

They sent two number 6 panels instead of a number 6 and a number 7 panel. Now I have bare “wood” exposed on the front edge of one section. Also flat pack furniture is typically poor quality but this is poor quality among flat pack furniture.

This is an okay bench. It doesn't feel extremely sturdy to sit on, and I'm a small woman. The materials are super cheap, easy to damage. The seat cushion was actually much nicer than it looks in the photo, though.
