From the information I found the holes were supposedly 16”...
From the information I found the holes were supposedly 16” on center. They definitely were not. They were about 15 3/8” on center. So mounting them horizontally on a stud wall made it a bit more difficult and not visually appealing in my opinion.

No mounting screws
I did not receive mounting screws with this item and it says that it comes with some. With the few dollors that i saved buying through walmart i guess will be used to buy screws.

Used this to add some security at the top of the slide and make it easier for my daughter to sit without the fear of her falling off the side. Ideally would have liked them to come out another couple inches.

Handles seem pretty durable. Price was higher than I wanted, especially since it didn't come with hardware, but instructions covered what you need. Overall, they seem to be a quality product.
