Great for the beach or lake, do not set up in strong wind

The first time we tried to set this up at the beach there were some big wind gusts and because of that it splintered a pole, making it no longer functional. I reached out to the seller who immediately remedied our problem without delay. I would suggest you set up carefully if you are in windier conditions. It works wonderfully once set up and is a perfect way to get out of the sun while at the beach or the lake. It is light weight and compact for easy storage and transportation. You can easily fit it all back into the original bag when you are done, which is appreciated. It only comes with plastic stakes which don't work all that great if you are having to stake into hard ground, so keep that in mind if you know where you'll be using it. I would recommend this, especially knowing they have great customer service.

Very roomy and easy to setup.

What I love about the beach tent is that how easy it is to install. The tent is very roomy from inside and it can have 4 people comfortably inside the tent. It's very portable, I can carry it in my large camping bag without taking much space. The material of this beach tent is comparable to a regular camping tent. It's waterproof and it does block the sun rays. Inside is not too dark when fully closed, so you still get some shadow light inside without feeling like it's dark inside. On a high windy day this tent does flip and flop just make sure that you fasten it really tightly to the ground.

Extremely Large- Not for windy weather!

I loved this sunshade tent! It's super big! It's also lightweight! The inside is tall enough to place small chairs and sit comfortably without hitting the ceiling of it. I would avoid setting this tent up on a windy day, or using it during windy weather, as I quickly learned it will turn into a super kite. You can also use it for parks of camping, instead of filling the side sacks with sand, you can fill them with heavy rocks, or use the ground stakes. There is a downside of using the stakes because they are made of plastic, and are not very durable. You definitely will not be able to put them in hard ground. You cannot hammer them down either because the plastic will warp or break. I suggest purchasing metal stakes if you wish to use it on other grounds aside from the beach. It's big enough to put in a twin air mattress and zip up completely. My family had a great time with shade and protection from insects when we took this tent on a test run.

Omg I love this so much!! It's so easy to put up an take down very sturdy love the window and that you can cover them up. Perfect for large folks too very spacious. Love it!!

Good basic tent

This is a good tent for the beach or a park picnic. It's not as easy to use as the pop up one I used to have, but this is a good alternative and is lighter since it doesn't have all the fancy mechanisms. I didn't receive any instructions in the package, but it was fairly easy to figure out. It's much easier to put together with two people, with one person holding the tent open and the other person inserting the poles to hold it up. You can put sand in the bottom pockets to weigh it down so it doesn't blow over since it's so lightweight. Since there's only one mesh window, there wasn't a lot of air circulation and it would get a little warm and stuffy farther back in the tent, so the first time I used this we had to rotate the tent to let more air in. After that I started bringing a rechargeable portable fan, which helps a lot with the air circulation. Overall it's a good basic beach tent, but at this price point you can definitely find one that's a bit nicer or more sturdy. If all you need is a basic beach tent, I would look for one that's under $50.

It's good

This did the job of shading well and I like that it lengthens in front to create your own space to put towels on or a big beach blanket if you have one and it keeps everything from getting sandy underneath. I don't really like the setup and take down of it but it is useful if you have a baby and takes up a lot less space than the pop up square tents so that's good because it fits easily in my cars trunk. I feel like this is a middle of the road kind of item for us like I may not use it too often because of the setup but still useful if it's super hot out.

Can be tricky to put up, but the shade is provided is worth it

I hate the sun. Bring hot, sweaty and not being able to find shade put me in a bad mood, but now I have a baby and have to do things I might not enjoy… like going to the beach.I will say having this tent makes the experience much more pleasant as I am not directly in the sun - also good to have shade for the baby skin.The tent is a bit time consuming to put up the first few times, but it gets easier. It's also pretty lightweight, so we always need to make sure we put enough weight in it to keep it in place.

Nice

I have never owned a beach tent before, but it was fun sitting in one. It was fairly easy to set up and nice to have to be out of the sun. When folded down, it is very lightweight and compact. It is so lightweight that strong winds can move the beach tent. There was plenty of room for the three of us. We enjoyed our time in the beach tent and look forward to using it again.

Good quality

This beach tent is different than other tent. The shape is different, it's circular designed. It's feels bigger than regular ones. I like how the front can be closed up with zipper. It can provide privacy. It's easy to set up only need few minutes and it's easy to fold up too. I like that it come with a storage bag.it's easy to take it with me.

Great pop up tent

I love that this just pops right up when you take it out of the bag. This is perfect for the beach or even a park. It's great for providing some shelter from the sun. Now if it's pretty windy this may not hold up so well but still great. There is also an attached blanket to stretch out on. Along with a couple of tent stakes to stick it into the ground. All of this comes in a nice sack that would fit nicely in a suitcase if you are traveling.

Great Replacement

Replaced our old beach/sun shelter with this new updated style, I really like that it can be completely closed up for changing or if the wind changes direction, it's easy to pack around, set up, and take down along with the extra roominess inside.

Great to have for sunny days

This tent really does give you much needed shade from the sun. Okay it's hot out here guys and this tent is pretty easy to setup. Instructions are attached to bag which I really like. One person could setup but with two it's a lot easier and faster. Perfect for the beach, camping, park or really anywhere you can setup at. Really good quality and easy to uninstall as well. I'd recommend.

A little complicated at first, but nice protection!

This beach tent is a little hard to put together the first couple times, but once you get the hang of it, it's not too bad and would really only be problematic if you're trying to set up in windy conditions. Once up, the material seems pretty durable with solid stitching, and the inside of the tent is nice and roomy, fits four (and a dog or two) pretty comfortably. Packs up easily enough and (with care) fits back in the bag with all the included accessories. We like this beach tent and can recommend it, for less than $50, it provides much needed relief for a day at the beach.

Cozy! Big enough for two adults without feeling cramped. One person set up. Traveled with it on plane to the beach. Used twice. No complaints. Recommend.

Too complicated to put up in a hurry

This tent was great once it was assembled; but we decided that after trying to assemble it once at home before taking it to the beach where it would be windy during assembly, it wasn't something we wanted to keep. I wanted something i could put up quickly so that i could keep a good eye on my kids while assembling it myself. This definitely wasn't the tent for the job, so we returned it right away and ordered a pop up in its place.

Easy Set up and large tent!

This is a great beach or picnic blanket for any family! The setup is extremely easy with foldable poles that slide through a couple of loops. The tent feels really study and has attachments to stake it down or fill up some pockets for sand to hold it down in case of wind. Furthermore, there is a screen in the back that can be exposed to let air flow in! The material doesn't get wet easily and is super easy to clean off sand or spills. I find this great for any family of 4 as it can comfortably fit a family in the shaded part!

New fave

This tent is compact, has great coverage, it's fully functional and super easy to put up-and-down. We use for camping and the beach. And sometimes when we go to the river.

Good size!!!

First time we put it together, it was a bit slow going. Second time we set it up we were at the beach and it went together fairly easy. Next time was a windy day at the beach but it went together quick. You absolutely have to either tie it down or weigh down because 1 good gust of wind and it flips up and wants to take off. We usually put our cooler in one corner and all of our other things in the other and it stays out.
