The bags seem to be very sturdy. They hold a lot of trash; but, are not to heavy for me to lift into waste bin. I really like they are degradable.

Seem hefty enough to do the trash this far. Like the biodegradable aspect.

I like the product, but should have read and reread the description as you can recycle these, but they are not compostable. Therefore, the local government service that usually picks up leaves in “green” bags shot these down.

Nice replacement for our cheaply made bags

The City of Houston "approved" bags are so cheaply made, and expensive, that it sometimes took 2 bags for the lawn waste. Houston also is not very good at maintaining their pickup schedule. I recently had bags sitting out for 9 weeks (they tell you once out, leave them) and all of the "approved" bags had disintegrated while the few Stout bags were going strong. Definitely worth the purchase.

This is my second box of life cycle trash bags, this kind of trash bag breaks down in the dump, that is why I purchased it, no it is not like your super tough kind, but I dont stuff it so full that it pokes thru, I use it in my kitchen waste basket..

So far the best ones I've found

They don't fall apart (be careful of thorns or very pointy sticks though). I am pleased they are large and hold a lot of leaves for my clean up. I hate using plastic so this is a good alternative. Could be a little less expensive to help promote people to buy more of them and less plastic.

I use the bags to send yard waste to the county center where they are mulched with contents. I think it is a great idea, but the county was initially very reluctant to allow them. It saves me a lot of work toting big, heavy barrels of mulched grass and leaves out to the curb, and then taking the empty barrels back to the garage, where they would take up a lot of room. I believe the company that makes the bags tries to hire the visually impaired, which is admirable.

very heavy material, i didn't have even one tear when heavily loaded, a great size and will buy more this week, plus they self destroy for better dump site recycle plus they don't come packed so they're hard to open. these open very easily great job

Purchased several boxes and they are a great product. They are controlled life cycle garbage bags, great product!

Environmentally Friendly and Good Quality

I hate using ordinary plastic garbage bags because they're so bad for the environment. But I was afraid to stop using Hefty because it's very sturdy and I was afraid that another brand would leak. I'm very happy and pleasantly surprised by this. It makes me feel good to know that these will degrade and not pollute the earth and also hold up well with ordinary kitchen garbage.
