Brutal to Disassemble
It went up fairly easily, but pulling it apart in the autumn made me nearly incandescent with rage.
Impossible diassembly, difficult aasembly
Incredibly difficult product to assemble. The spring tension is so tight it ruptured my finger. And I considered myself a proficient woodworker. It’s also impossible to disassemble. Some of the pieces are incredibly tightly together and the spring that I’m supposed to push down on is incredibly tense. consider this a permanently installed product. I’m going to return the product with the springs pulled out because I have no way to take it out clearly
Some of the push-in joining mechanisms were very, very hard to push-in--made thumbs sore. A couple push-in joining mechanisms became dislocated and were hard to repair. Why are the tie-downs not included, if they are necessary? It looks really good.
Huge "permanent" fixture
This is huge and sturdy. My two year old is absolutely obsessed with it. Perfect for climbing and swinging. This is sturdy and meant to be taken apart if you absolutely need to. But I'm going to keep it up until we no longer use it. Grateful it's so sturdy. I'd rather have something that I trust than something easy to break down but flimsy. My toddler has used this multiple times a day every day since we got it. Worth every penny if you have the space. Also a fantastic footrest for the supervising adults 😂
Assembly is sooo hard
Was under the assumption that this was metal, it’s plastic and kind of slippery. Fingers are still in massive pain from assembling. Had to have help from a man on this. Takes 2. We were laughing about how it kept saying easy assembly. What can I say my 4 year old is having a lot of fun with it though.
Climber
Love the end result. Hate putting it together. The push buttons are so difficult to get together. Double check your parts before assembling as it’s so easy to grab the wrong one. I will never take it apart but the kids love it!!
Grandma gives this a 10
This jungle gym got my grandkids thru a pandemic and every rainy day & snow day since. Super great indoor exercise for the kids & grab some covers and throw them over it for a cool club house or tent. Their imaginations went wild with this & they even included me (I’m a long distance Grandma) in the tent via Facebook on the iPad! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!
The delivery was great, but this thing was so difficult to put together! Connecting the pieces and sliding the little pulls to connect each piece, took three strong men, leaving them bleeding with cuts on their hands. Our grandson loves it, seems to be sturdy, but it’d be nice if it weren’t so difficult to assemble.
Challenging to assemble - faulty springs
We are excited for our toddler to play on this - she is a great climber. Putting it together made me reconsider how safe this product is. The springs that are used to connect the poles either really easily fell out or you had to use brute force to click the button. Be prepared to have a flathead screwdriver to push down on the buttons only to have the springs fall out once assembled. The jungle gym is so tightly bound, but the amount of springs that fell out on the bottom make me a bit nervous. We will see as time will tell, but be prepared for a very challenging assembly.
Good climbing for little kids
Now that it's put together it seems sturdy and I am happy with it. Putting the larger blue star-shaped pieces into the tubes was a bit tricky and using a screw driver or similar tool with something to push the pins down to get into the holes helped. A couple of the pins (flexible metal things) came out and had to be put in again. But eventually we got everything together, so be patient to see how you can best make them work. Some were very easy to put together, especially the green tubes towards the middle and top.
Kids approve!
Not as hard to assemble if you follow the letters and numbers. The instructions are confusing. Could be better and stronger… But the kids are having the best time of their lives! For the price I think it’s an awesome monkey bars. Girls are 4 and 3
Love it!
I really like this thing! My 5 year old son got it with his gift cards and it has gotten so much use! All the neighbor kids even love to play with it! It’s nice and sturdy but I found it hard to get all those little buttons down to connect the parts. But honestly I feel it makes it more sturdy because it was.
Quick assembly, good size, kids LOVE
My kids absolutely love this climbing dome. We have a huge outdoor one, but wanted something smaller for indoors. I came across this one in store and I figured it would at least work well for my youngest two who are toddlers. I was happily surprised by how big it is! It’s perfect for my tall 6 year old and large enough for all three kids to play together. Assembly was pretty easy. Most of it snapped right together. We did have a problem with 3-4 of the joint pieces where the metal piece inside would fall out. You have to carefully get the metal piece back inside and properly positioned which is doable, but not as easy as it sounds. Even with that problem though I still had the dome together in ~20 minutes while also fighting off toddlers who were chaotically scattering the parts across the room.
Great for active toddlers!!
Our little one has energy for days and loves to jump, climb and bounce off of our house furniture. So this was the perfect solution for us. So many different ways to climb and play. Our little one is 3.5 yrs and it’s just challenging enough that she actually has to put in some effort to climb and swing… we’ll probably get a good year out of this before she outgrows it, but totally worth it for us. It’s big enough for two 3/4 yrs olds to play together. Great buy. Totally recommend! We’re using indoors in our furnished basement and it’s not too cumbersome, as we have a lot of open space.
Great indoor activity!
Somehow we assumed this was metal, but I guess this is maybe better? Set-up is as painful as everyone has mentioned. Both literally (those buttons are hard to push!) and figuratively (it’s tedious, but it also really matters that you do it right). Took the suggestion from another reviewer and put a ball pit underneath. This is now my 2 year-old’s absolute favorite thing to do. I can see her gaining confidence in her climbing and learning that falling is ok. A little tricky for Mom & Dad to squeeze through the bars to get in the ball pit with her, but this seems sturdy enough to handle our maneuvers (I wouldn’t climb it, but leaning on it seems fine). I bought this to avoid spending a ton on a Pikler, but w/the 5’ ball pit and 2000 balls, I guess I ended up in more or less the same place
Good choice for toddler.
I purchased this climber for an active 3 year old. It is very stable, yet lightweight. It's just the right size for a child between 2 and 5, and the height is not so "scary" for child or parent alike.
Wish I hadn't bought it
VERY difficult to put together; virtually impossible to take apart. Parts are more fragile than they should be.
Multiple parts defective. Nightmare to Take Down
We chose this climbing tower over others because it's supposed to easy to put up and take down. We wanted something we can have up when our son wants it, but then easily and quickly take down when it's not needed, since we have limited yard space. However, the release pins in about half the connecting pieces in our set were too stiff to push in by hand. When my wife and I discovered this we should have put the whole thing back in the box and sent it back. Big mistake. We used a pair of pliers (which takes two people) to push in the pins and assemble the whole thing. However, when it came to taking it apart, we discovered that the provided tool to release the pins was defective. It just didn't line up with the pins, making it impossible to take the climber down, not even with pliers. I tried to contact the manufacturer for help multiple times by phone and email. They did not bother to reply on any occasion. Walmart stepped in and had a trucking company come and take the climber away (fully assembled) for a full refund. I also don't think the tower is that well designed. It should really have a platform at the top, rather than an open hole.
Pieces missing
Nice product if I had all the pieces and if it disassembled easily. Appeared packaging was new. Had it over half way assembled to discover missing pieces. Began trying to disassemble but was impossible. The tool they give was useless. The pins snap so tightly closed that we had to use a screwdriver to push them in but the spring then popped which meant it could not be put back together. So disassembled the best we could and took it back to the store for refund. Purchased it for the holiday for the kids and had nothing in the end.
Best Climber with this top rectangle bar
Best toy I've bought yet! Toy Monster Eezy Peezy Climber was a big hit for my grandsons whom are 2 yrs and 3 yrs old.
