It is well built and our yorkie has plenty of room to be comfy when we travel.

Perfect just what I ordered and arrived on time

I love it but…

I love this seat. However, my dog has destroyed two of the padded seats fairly quickly. I sure do wish I could get a replacement for that internal piece because the rest of it is just fine. Is that possible?

A review with a story

This review starts with a story. I have a 12 pound Yorkie. She got sick (in her Skybox) and then aspirated her sick. We were lucky though; we were at the vet when it happened. The vet took her back and put her on oxygen and we were going to come back in a couple of hours to get her after she had some recovery time. About 30 minutes later, the vet called and said she needed oxygen constantly and every time they tried to take her off it, her oxygen levels dropped too low. So, they called the emergency vet and they came to get her in a doggie ambulance. Now I believe the doggie ambulance was really an SUV with a nurse to administer oxygen, but I was thankful for it all the same. Our pup spent the night in an oxygen cage and made a full recovery, she even came home the next day. She seems to be fully recovered.

Initially skeptical

I was initially skeptical since my dog is quite anxious riding in the car. However, she calmed down nicely after about a half hour and spent the rest of our ‘test drive’ head up looking at the scenery. Big thumbs up from both of us.

We purchased two of these booster seats when we got our two Chihuahua sisters for years ago. We rescued their mama the little beige Chihuahua last week, so we decided to get one for her as well. She has car anxiety and because she is able to look outside at all times. It has really calm her down. with the added security of a harness seatbelt, they are well contained in the backseat and are able to enjoy the view. Highly recommend this product worth every penny.

We Love Kurgo products!! We have the " Journey " booster seat and it's awesome. Easy to use, clean and it's lightweight. I don't feel nervous now when my dog travels in the car with me. I know she is safe!!

COMFORTABLE

Comfortable and easy to spot clean. Durable fabric. Roomy for a small 25 pound Beagle. Easy to set up and move from car to car. She loves it! We have had the same seat for 2 1/2 years now.

Stability lacking for me

Looks nice, good quality construction, & is more spacious than the suspended boxes, but only connects by seat belt in back, not an attachment directly to seat. It seems nowhere near as stable as the other Kurgo seat I have, and is being returned as a result. I feel like it would slip around as I corner.

Dog travels in style

This elevated box makes car travel easy AND safe for your dog. Easy to assemble and install in your car. Has a carabiner to safely secure your dog in a position where the dog can see what is going on outside during travels. Our dog is ~23 lbs. and is on the upper limit of practicality.

Not washable

Nlce carseat but not practical unless your dog never goes to the dog park or outside. Not able to remove covers to wash.

Strongly recommended especially if you have a small pup

We just recently adopted a now 10 week old Cockapoo. I can’t say enough how perfect this carrier is. She can be hooked safely to the carrier, and it also hooks up to the seatbelt along with a strap to wrap over the seat. It’s a worthy investment.

Great safe choice for your fur baby!

I’m so happy I finally got this for my pup! He is safe, comfortable and knows that it is his place in the car!
