An absolutely amazing tool. It's amazing quality, durable, thick and sturdy materials used. Everything has the kind of thickness that speaks of quality build. You kbow how cheap things are usually thin, lightweight, flimsy. this is all the opposite of that. Decently heavy with a great grip. Super super easy to clean. My favorite part is that theres no metal parts, all high quality plastic and rubber, which means NO RUSTING!!!!!! The plastic is sharp and cuts super well!

Great tool

This was recommended by the emergency doctor when I cut my thumb wide open after using a knife to remove an avocado seed. It’s excellent works just as explained on packing. Best kitchen tool I’ve purchased in some time.

This could be one of my favorite kitchen tools. I use this to safely cut open avocados. It’s so easy to use and I don’t have to worry about hurting myself. It’s dishwasher safe too! I just recently bought a second one!

Does not work. Does not cut properly. Is too small to fit some of the avocados. I sent an email to customer service telling them I was dissatisfied with the product and they sent me a new one. Now I have two avocado cutters that don’t work.

Handy kitchen tool! Sharp. Slices avocado expertly. Did have difficulty removing the seed though. Overall very happy with this 3-in-1 tool.

Only for ripe fruits..

Save yourself the $ and get a cutting implement with a metal blade. I’ve used a peeler and mandoline here but some kitchen choppers also work. The plastic blades on the OXO bend apart and barely try to cut the avocado when scooping. Meanwhile the pit remover seemed to tear apart the pit rather than rotate it out? The plastic halver seems to work ok at least. Good size for getting all the way down to the pit.

Best decision

After looking at several options I decided to purchase this OXO 3-in-1 avocado slicer. The learning curve is very short. Works perfectly for removing, cutting and slicing. I make guacamole frequently, makes my job much easier now!

Not better than a knife and spoon

I used this for about a month on many different sized avocados of varying ripeness. The “knife” works poorly on overripe fruit and the scoop isn’t effective for larger or firmer avos.

Amazing product

It is as easy to use and it works just as it showed on the product promotional video. Almost effortlessly, it cuts the avocado and and you can extract the edible part with this one utensil, as opposed to needing to use say, a peeler and/or a knife, fork or spoon. Yet it doesn't have sharp, metal blades. Amazing design. Very easy to wash. Becoming difficult to remember how I managed before I had this handy utensil.

It doesn’t really work and I would return it if I could

The knife like edge is great and the pit removal is also good the problem is the the side that’s supposed to cut the slices dosnt work well because it’s too thick, it should have been made of wire. I stick to my small pairing knife and can do a better job this way.

I used mine for years and it is perfect. When one of the tines broke the company replaced it no questions asked. I would highly recommend this product and this company.

Amazed!!!

As with majority of gadgets there is scepticism but this product is actually really good. Especially the stone removal part - much safer than sticking in a knife !!! A great addition to the kitchen drawer.

This is the best thing since sliced bread. Easily cut the avocado in half, remove the core and slice. Makes breakfast, avocado toast, salads, sandwiches and more so easy. Toss it in the dishwasher to clean and you’re done.

Great product

I bought this for my daughter as I already have one and think it's brilliant. It is so easy to use, the serrated edge cuts the skin smoothly and the centre grip holds the stone and removes it with a twist so no more struggling to get it out with a knife! You also have the option of using the scoop and slice if you want to cut the avocado up. It is dishwasher safe and so no mess anywhere. I honestly think this is a must gadget for anyone who likes avocados.

My husband really likes this 3in 1 tool! Call me crazy, but I missed my butter knife and spoon method. This can be a little difficult to clean as pieces get stuck in the cracks. But it also works well for slicing hard boiled eggs into potato salad!

Fabulous unitasker

I generally try to stay away from things in my kitchen that are only good for one purpose, but this is the shining exception to that rule. Buy this if you love avocados. The knife is the same as any other plastic knife, but this one is attached to a pit grabber and a slicing scoop. All in one. It's even the same color as an avocado. Perfectly simple and streamlined tool.
