This turtle isn’t like it used to be. Very small and looks cheap.

Don't Buy This

Save your money. Don’t buy it. Flimsy. Clunky assembly. Small. Not like the original. We contemplated just throwing it in the garbage can after putting together 3 pieces. Totally disappointing.

This sandbox is very small and flimsy. It comes in several pieces. It’s not at all like the ones we had back in the 70’s! I was very disappointed and returned it.

Not enuf for your buck

Times have truly changed and you can see the results from this product and the product from 20 years ago. The sandbox now has to be out together unlike the sandbox 20 years ago. The size, one word can only describe how I’m feeling about the new one, WOW!! What a waste of money on the consumer, number one!! What a waste of money on the manufacturer for even taking the money and time to put one of these on the market! It’s a 1/3 of the size of what the use to be!! Why change what’s been a successful name all these years? To save money so the executives can have more money in their pockets?? I wouldn’t waste my time on another Tykes product again. It’s a waste of lol!

Not like the turtle of 10 or 15 years ago.

It would have been nice to have the turtle all in one piece. Instead it required assembly and screws. So for pickup it was great because it was a smaller package, but for assembly it was less than ideal.

I was looking for a heavy duty plastic sandbox. This had so many pieces to put together. I ended up buying a better quality one piece with a separate lid to keep cats out.

This was NOT easy to put together. It took almost 2 hours. If my granddaughter wasn't coming soon it would have gone right back.
