Gift Note issue

This was sent as a gift to my neice. Her parents contacted me to ask if I had sent it since they couldn't find anything obvious in the packaging to say who it came from.

Needs replacement parts/extra magnets included

I’ve had this a few years now and we love it. The only problem is we’ve lost an ornament and our dog chewed a couple others. It feels wasteful to buy a whole other set just for a few ornaments!

First thing every morning till Christmas

My 3.5 year old girl loves it. It’s her first advent calendar and she’s excited about adding one ornament to the tree every morning. It also helps her count the days till Christmas

Good Quality and Cute

Super cute. Magnets stay in place. And it feels sturdy. I wouldn't pay full price for it though. 3 year old loves to play with it but hasn't quite grasped the countdown concept - maybe next year :)

New tradition!

Our 18mo baby loves this advent calendar! She takes the ornaments on and off and reorganizes them and then takes all the ornaments out of the bottom and puts them all back, etc. If your little one is an organizer or arranger, they will love this. I'm looking forward to having it as an annual tradition for years to come.

Sturdy and perfect for my three year old

Sturdy construction of the tree and box that holds the magnetic ornaments means we can use it for years to come! My three year old loves the brightly colored magnetic ornaments and decorating the tree everyday with a new design.

Cheap material; broke upon first use

Wanted to love this as it is super cute in theory… But unfortunately it is not the best material or that well made, which is not the best news for a kids toy! The bottom shelf part that holds the magnetic ornaments, ripped upon me sliding it forward a few inches so our little one could reach for an ornament. It completely tore off and while I can fix it with tape and a hot glue gun, it sucks that it happened in the first place— much less, the first time we used it! The top tree portion, star, and magnets seem a bit sturdier.

I love all Melissa and Doug toys

This calendar was used for years and recently given to my grandchildren. Unfortunately the ornaments were lost but we made our own with cardboard and magnets and the girls are thrilled with it. If I could buy the ornaments I would. The tree is adorable and I know it will be used for years to come. Melissa and Doug products are wonderfully made and real keepers!

Can't go wrong with M&D!

Wonderful advent calendar for toddlers. It comes with 25 magnets (24 ornaments star). There is a little tray at the bottom to store all magnets in too! This is my only complaint, I wish the bottom detached. It makes it very bulky for storage. Besides that, wonderful item!
