Zero Quality Control

I purchased this pair of chairs to evaluate the product quality and planned to purchase the remaining components if the quality was acceptable. I immediately noticed that the chairs were very light weight even for aluminum. I got half way through the first chair assembly and found a hole that the threads were completely stripped out of. It was not as if a bolt had been overtightened and stripped the threads - there were no threads there and the hole was too large so threading it was not an option. Packed it up and took it back to Home Depot and will shop for a better set.
