Had To Drill 12 Holes to Construct This Bed Frame

I did not see any other commenters with this issue so it may have just been a manufacturing mishap with mine, but I think it needs to be mentioned. There were 12 holes I had to drill myself to build this bed frame. The frame did not have pre-drilled holes for the footers (8 holes needed to be drilled) or the solid straight wood cross bars (4 holes had to be drilled). If you are uncomfortable drilling fairly long holes into wood, I would not risk buying this bed frame.

Fantastic bed. It’s a very neutral color so it matches almost everything. The storage drawer is an added bonus.

This bed has held up and I like the big draw under the bed but you have to be careful that the it does not become uneven because then it does not want to slide out. You will need two people to put this together because the parts are big and cumbersome.

I had the same bedroom set for over 20 years. When I started dreaming of buying a new one, I viewed a lot and kept coming back to this one. Its beautiful! Fits my taste beautifully. I also bought the side table that matches. I love it!

Bad instructions, and it broke

This was a beautiful bed, but it started badly and ended badly. The instructions were horrible, basically just pictures, and I ended up with a lot of spare parts. Then the bed broke a little everyday before finally collapsing.

Very sturdy and easy to put together. Love the Heather grey color and the contrasting dark wooden feet.

Really handsome beige upholstered king bed. Fits the space well. And the storage drawer is a plus!

Horrible! Do not buy!

The bed came with stains all over the side board. The bed broke after a feel weeks of having it. The wooden boards underneath the bed are horrible quality and 4 of them came off. Regret buying the bed.

We love our bed! It was What I wanted. Color and look are exactly like the photos online. We were looking for extra storage so the drawer in front of the bed is perfect for bed sheets and pillows. Good quality and easy to build. Instructions were easy to follow. I would recommend this bed if you're looking for something modern, clean looking, or something simple.

Great bed but VERY high and bigger than a traditional king.

The bed arrived fairly quick but one of the hardware bags was missing so we had to go to Home Depot to get those screws. It is sturdy but even without a box spring it is VERY high. Higher than my dresser. The frame is also 3 inches longer than the mattress. It says king but looks more like a California king to be honest. It is a beautiful bed and sturdy but not sized right to be listed as a traditional king.

Looks Great

Looks great for the price. The storage drawer works surprisingly smoothly, even on our very thick throw rug. Headboard is pretty low, but I like that. The drawer is nice, but in retrospect I could fit a lot more in underbed storage boxes with a regular bed, so something to consider.

This bed is awesome! They grey is such a pretty color. The drawer underneath adds great storage for linens or extra blankets. There was a little assembly but it wasn't hard with two people.

Looks good, but poor quality

We have had this bed for a little over a year. Out of nowhere - we were asleep - one of the center rails of the bed twisted slightly and caused the legs to slip out from under the mattress on one side. I've tried to straighten it back out, but it just twists again. I think we can all agree that a bed should last you more than 14 months before it gives out. I really like the style and look of the bed, but the quality is obviously lacking. The other downside is that the drawer is impossible to open and close completely once you put your mattress on. It pushes down on the frame, and the drawer becomes completely stuck by the weight of the bed. The only way the drawer is usable is if you leave it slightly open so the bed isn't pushing down on it.

Absolute trash. Don't be fooled. 6 month life.

Baxton Studio is absolute garbage, like this bed. Some pieces arrived, some I had to wait weeks for, pestering their customer service for 3 weeks, they didn't even return a call. Then the bed frame collapsed in the middle of the night because the center shifted slightly and the cheap wood splintered, and all the plastic supports snapped. Seriously, I weigh 100 lbs, and this bed hurt me when it collapsed. I would never trust this company, or their products. They have refused to stand by it, and Walmart refused to refund since it happened 6 months after purchase. Unreal. The customer service from Walmart and Baxton Studios has been horrific.
