Stylish food bowls

I bought this for my terrier and it is the best thing I have ever bought for her! She is 16yo and an extremely messy eater. With this, I can separate the unit and clean easily. My floors are clean regardless. This catches all of the mess and it is so stylish!

Fixed 90% of our water problems

We were sick of the puddles of water that would accumulate on our tile floor around the water bowl... which became a slip hazard as well as just being an all around pain to clean up. This drastically reduced the issue. It now collects under the food/water bowl in the dedicated catch area that we can easily empty once every few days.

Not A Good Design

I really wanted to like this. I had high hopes after reading so many positive reviews. I ordered the large size for my German Shepherd. The design is not good. The water bowl does not fit properly in the cut out hole that it sits in (there’s a significant gap). As a result every time my dog drinks from it, it slides around creating a huge mess. Water goes in the catch basin below and all over the floor. Creating a clean up job for me, SEVERAL times a day. I initially thought I must have received a defective product, I contacted CHEWY and a new feeder was quickly sent out. Excellent customer service. Sadly the second feeder had the same problem. A poor design makes this EXPENSIVE feeder worthless. I now have two large useless feeders that I won’t donate, they will get recycled next trash day. I would not recommend this to anyone. Definitely look in to reviews on other sites if you are thinking about this. Honestly, I’m not the only person who’s disappointed in this feeder!

We have 7 dogs and 6 cats who use the Neater Feeder constantly. Now, we originally bought it because our 19 year old dog would dump the water bowl or fall into their food bowl making messes too often. That doesn’t happen anymore luckily however I did find that (in the summer) when the dogs eat and drip water through the tray, they also move the food around and get some under the tray as well which then creates issues of mold and I even found a roach under the tray once! Now, I’m constantly looking because it attracts critters when normally didn’t have those issues prior to getting the Neater Feeder. It is helpful for the dogs to eat easier without having to bend down as much and when the bowls are empty for the day, it doubles as a sun bathing spot for our cats 😂 Either way, it’s put to good use every single day by both our cats and dogs. Do I think it was worth $40 some odd dollars? No, absolutely not. The plastic stains easy, gets nicked easily and is a pain to clean because the holes get disgusting and mold will grow in them if you don’t take precautions. I got a storage container with the bowls on top for $13 and it does the same thing only better because it actually has the food inside and seems easier to clean. I wouldn’t go with the Neater Feeder again but rather would just get a cheaper option with the flaws it has. For now, I’ll keep using it until it has more wear and tear.

We adopted a 4 month old standard poodle/goldendoodle mix who is a total water dog... for the last 3 months she has been treating her water bowl as a swimming pool by sticking her whole face in to get a drink or stepping in it to play resulting in a giant trail of puddle water all over the hardwood floors. Recently, she decided the water bowl was a toy and would just pick up the whole thing in her mouth dumping water all over the floor to play with her bowl... it was a constant mess and this Neater Feeder has been an awesome solution. I was unsure how she would respond to it, but it was a "go" straight out of the box. No hesitation as others have described from their dogs, and everything has stayed in place with no more puddles. Our solution to avoid having the food get wet and messy has been to ensure that she eats her whole meal when it is put down (we also have a chubby, elderly mini poodle who would gladly steal any leftovers) so there is no left over food to get waterlogged. Thanks Neater Feeder!!! You saved us!
