Sturdy, solid wooden porch bench

The porch bench is simple yet sturdy and solid wood that elevated our front porch to be more homey and inviting. Easy to assemble and the instructions are simple. Will definitely recommend to others!

Easy to assemble, looks nice when finished. We did add a layer of protective wood sealant since the wood felt very dry and would probably weather quickly without it. Overall happy with the purchase

Super nice, good looking wood. It's a smaller bench - certainly not oversized but plenty big, and I'm a big person. Very good quality, especially for the money! Was packed very thoughtfully in sturdy packaging, and even with a minimal amount of styrofoam. I'd buy another if I had a spot!

Great bench and it states an 800lb limit!

Got this bench because it looked nice and it held 800 lbs. The other two person benches stated they only held 300 lbs - the others are not two person benches!

This bench is solid. It was easy to put together also just 4 pieces and screws. Love the color and love it on my porch. The size is perfect

Reasonably priced and in the style.

I looked everywhere locally and on certain platforms for another \'English wooden garden bench.\' The old one I have is a much squirrel chewed weathered teak bench which is still going. I followed the instruction to the letter and all screws and parts were in box. Exceptionally well packaged. I found only one mis-placed pre-drilled hole at the stage of the seat bottom installation. I drilled my own hole and used the screw provided. DO loosely assemble parts as advised. Better with two people or using another object to hold unsecured parts. DO use a longer handled wrench than that provided if you have one in your box. GO SLOW and make sure you are in the screw hole aligned correctly. I WOULD\'NT use a power drill.This bench won\'t do well with your uncle Sasquatch or a tribe of juvenile Vandals; the seating could use additional under support (which I will add later). I sprayed it before use with a can of Spar Urethane (marine) for additional protection in the elements. The instructions advise you to assemble \"close to your intended use area\"...this may be a comment on the lightweight nature of the bench.For the excellent price and the ease of filling the need hole, it has worked very well. I am happy with it.

Poor quality of slats. Had a lot of nots in the wood seat slats. Rated a 800lb but only had one support in the center of the seat slats. I weigh 215lb and sat down after putting it together on one side and the center slat cracked and broke. I took the 2 I bought back and home depot and they refunded my money.

Went together very simply with no issues. Took approximately 1 hour by myself (60 year old female) from unboxing to cleanup. Looks so much more expensive than the price I paid. Very sturdy too! I plan on putting on a sealer to preserve the color and protect the wood from the elements, even though it is on a covered porch. Buy it, you won’t be disappointed.
