Should be considered a "decorative" item. Purchased for the bottom of my bed for blanket storage and a place to keep throw pillows at night. It serves this purpose and works as a place to sit and put on shoes. And it looks great!! It is a hard sit. I wouldn't use it anywhere for comfort purposes. Also, the hinge screw heads are too small and several had pulled through the hinge to where the hinge wasn't even connected anymore. We're handy so we put in slightly longer screws with larger heads and it went back together fine. Feet are solid and went on easily. Overall, I like it and it serves the purpose I bought it for. But it's definitely not a high quality, well-made piece. But for this price point it'll do. I didn't have $600+ to spend.

Unfortunately this is badly constructed, backboard is misaligned, hinges not properly secured , fortunately have a friend who dismantled , recreated screw holes to secure proper alignment and used different screws for hinges to hold properly

Look carefully before accepting

Nice bench but lid does not match up evenly at the seams which is too bad. The big gap makes it look cheap. This was a pre-fab part, nothing we assembled ourselves.

Poorly made, cheap materials

Assembly holes didn't match up, screws were cheap and didn't stay in. We had to use screws we had around the house to make it work. Seat is hard and fabric is poor. Additionally, the interior lining has several holes in it. If I had seen it in person, I wouldn't have purchased it.

Horrible Craftsmanship

Zero stars if I could. Came with stripped out hardware on the hinges and an improperly installed insert on one of the legs so it couldn’t screw in. HORRIBLE craftsmanship!

Nope.

They crazy cheap made. I had to redrill some of those holes and had to exchange all the screws. They also don’t look as pretty in person. You get what you pay for.

Great idea, not great execution

Ordered 2 of these and I cannot open the storage area in 1 of them while the other opens well. Wish the storage area had a handle or latch mechanism Seat is also pretty hard, will need to order a chair cushion to sit on
