Love the look but poor quality

I love how this dresser looks in the room with the matching book cases. that was why I got it despite the reviews. The quality is poor. When my son put it together, there was a gap between the doors. He played around and managed to get the gap on the hinges side so now the doors meet up and the gap is not so obvious. The whole dresser was wobbly like a sea-saw. The piece that goes along the center bottom to give support sticks out. It is not flush with the other pieces that go around the whole dresser. It wobbled forward and backward. My son had to prop some cardboard underneath to make it steady. The general material of the dresser does not seem to be strong. We are only using it for clothing. Nothing heavy. I hope it lasts!

Pretty much as expected except the cheap plastic handles

I have several items from this collection/finish and they all came with metal, silver tone handles/drawer pulls. I was unpleasantly surprised that this piece has plastic blue tone handles and drawer pulls. I don't think that it is stated in the product description and I could not tell that it was different than the other pieces from the picture. No good, Sauder. BTW, the companies that Sauder refers for assembly have terrible ratings on-line. Sauder should do better. Find your own handyman if you cannot assemble the piece your self.

Good in a pinch I suppose

I purchased this for an extra room in my house that won't get a lot of use I'm glad for that because it is very flimsy and the drawers don't line up very well. I suppose Sauder thinks it's a good enough product for the price but at over $200 I would have looked for something else had I known.
