We recently bought a house and had to make some repairs and upgrades. One of the upgrades was lighting. We bought and installed 14 Halo LED Retrofit lights throughout our home. The LED lights are terrific, they give plenty of lighting, were easy to install, they use less energy and they look beautiful.

Easy to install in existing recessed cans. The only issue I had was with spring setup and clipping them into can, easy after #2 of 5. My existing cans were one piece style, so did remove them. If you have another type of can this product is really easy to install. Not expensive I added dimmer switch, these LED lights throw off much light. The look is good!

These replaced a couple of fixtures that had compact fluorescent lights that put out minimal light. The install takes the same amount of time as changing a light bulb. We spent more time trying to decide what temperature/color setting we liked best.

Prefect replacement for the old can lights i had in the ceiling. They did not seal as well as the old ones as we had a very windy day after i installed them and they leaked air. The rubber membraned made a really high pitched, loud noise. I will check them again later to see if I did not have them seated properly. The preset light level was perfect for an office, and i had them installed in about 2 minutes each.

I’ve only had the trims for a short while. They are easy to install. Comes set up for 6”, but is easily adjustable to 5”. It’s nice to be able to select the color temperature of the light as well. I’m happy with them for now. There are others similar for more money, and the only difference I could see was the amount of time they will last.

Light was purchased as a replacement for kitchen after one of four stopped working. I liked the fact that I could adjust the color and was able to match the color of the other lights. I did not like the fact that there is limitations to dimming. When I dim the kitchen to less than 20% this light goes out while I can continue to dim the others.

Good price. Covered the hole in ceiling above front porch nicely. Nice bright light. Only problem was getting a ladder tall enough to reach the socket (14' off the ground). Fortunately, my older brother had one.

Now, I haven't installed this yet but, I did try it out and it's amazing. It really puts off light. I like the variety of temperature colors. The screw in aspect makes not fiddling with electrical a breeze. It is really going to brighten up the kitchen.

This actually fits flush into your ceiling. It's really easy to install. The instructions are on the side of the box and they're really simple. Just take down the old lighting until. Connect the two ends from the wires ( one from the ceiling and the other from the unit and then push it up into the ceiling and secure it. All done!

Everything you need for an easy installation is included in the delivery. The light has five different color options and it’s also dimmable. Can’t wait to install this with my dad and use the extra light for content! I’m definitely gonna have to look up more detailed instructions online, the Included pamphlet isn’t as detailed as I would prefer..

I was very surprised how easy this was to install. For a DIY’er I feel this aspect is very important. Once installed, I was very happy with the amount of light it put out. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to upgrade their home lighting to a more modern look. It’s easy to do!!

Super easy to install if you have even a little general knowledge of electrical and being able to wire up a light fixture. These are not complicated. Match the wires, push it into the hole and you're pretty much good to go. Works and looks great just about anywhere.

This Halo light is a pretty cool gadet to spruce up the lighting in your home. It's a great sprucer-uper if you were wanting to install several of them or just change up one light in your home. It made a really cool light for my office and it was very easy to install. The color changing feature is really fun. I like to change the color of the lighting to reflect my mood. The lighting is bright and luminous!

If you’re a guy (or lady) that is use to working with lightning this is super easy to install. If you’re a woman (or guy) that has no knowledge of lightning, it can be a little confusing. So, my husband installed this lightbulb it clips right into the existing light. It’s pretty cool with its different light settings. You can have a super bright light or you can have ambient light. Pretty cool! I would definitely recommend this light, even if you’re not very handy in the lighting department. It’s worth it.

This halo ceiling light is very convenient and gives that modern look for high ceilings. I love these lights in my living room. I have 4 of these and the are super bright. This has 5 color changing options and they are also dimmable. I have this as a backup. This gives the house a nice look rather than seeing the bulky light bulbs and light fixtures.

I was happy to review this light because we are updating all of the lights in my sons house that are out of date. The Halo baffle trim selectable is perfect for really any area of your home but we chose to use it in his entrance because its dimmable (best feature). I would recommend this type of light to anyone. They are not hard to install either. The only con would be , you have to also change your on/off switch to a dimmable. Other than that, they're a great choice for ceiling lighting all over your home.

I've installed many of these Halo brand lights throughout my house, in and out. I've always either modified the wiring or ran new wiring for them. These retrofit kits obviously exist to fit a need, but I don't understand how. The selectable temperature range is nice, I've used a few of their products with this and it's nice to be able to install it and then adjust the color to what looks the best.
