worst piece of home furniture ive ever built

poorly engineered product don't buy it. I have built 100s of pieces of home furniture and this one had to be by far the worst.To start the instructions are very hard to understand and are very unclear, about 90% of the parts and hardware were not labeled making things even more difficult.I had no issue prebuilding all the sides and top piece but when I began to put the pieces together none of the fit together properly. When I attempted to lock the pieces the locks never properly locked into place. The end came when I attempted to place the top on with its multiple connection points going in different directions which caused several of the connections to snap breaking the pressed board.Definitely wouldnt recommend this product.

Huge an sturdy!

Delivered with short delay, but it's ok during quarantine. Took almost 4 hours and one passive helper to put it all together. No special carpenter skills are required. The main thing is to be able to handle a screwdriver. Result is unexpectedly great! Table is huge. With :2 inches curved monitor still have lots of space! Glass insert is good addition. My student made there an exhibition of mini figures). Sturdy, and it's important!

Great Desk

Delivery was within a week. In fact, so quick we weren't quite ready for it. Completely as advertised. Good quality, nice and solid and easy to put together. Looks great in the room.

Gorgeous!

Desk arrived in about 1 1/2 weeks on Thanksgiving weekend so was excited to have the time to build. The directions are awesome. Certainly didn't take the "60 minutes" they said it would, more like a couple hours, but I worked slow and sure and all went together very smoothly. I love this desk. It is solid and looks great in my little nook. Most worried about the drawers but they work smooth as silk. I opted for glass knobs I had in the house to give it a more eclectic look. Heading out today to buy those special touches to make it sparkle!

This Desk from the Cappuccino is a knockout! It is stunning and you can tell that it is well made.

Immediately fell in love with the look of the stylish Cappuccino. I had to look twice at the cost, which candidly had me worried that it lacked the quality I wanted. Nothing could've been more wrong. Decided that if the Cappuccino Desk could pass my test, I'd go back to order more furniture by Coaster. I was delighted with this purchase. The Desk is a sturdy, solid piece. All the parts were carefully wrapped, and there were no flaws. The best part was how it looked a real honey of a piece that could easily fit with most any dcor. The rest of my Cappuccino is scheduled to arrive in a few days.

Wish I had known about the Cappuccino sooner. Last year I bought new furniture not nearly as nice, and for a lot more money. I didn't even like it that much. Then a friend told me about 1StopBedroom. Had it a long time, moved it twice, survived well

I purchased this several years ago, and had two cross-country moves. It's some kind of compressed wood (MDF?), but worked well for more than five years. I gave it away when I was done with it, and the receiver was very excited by its functionality and how good a shape it was in. It shined nicely with just a damp cloth, even after all these years. Word to the wise: I skimped when I built it by not gluing the joints in place, and this was a big mistake. It loosened over the years and moves, and got to be pretty wobbly. Take the time to get a sturdy wood glue to make sure everything is securely in place.

not what i expected

it was a very nice looking desk,, but it would not last, it was made of pressed particle board, it arrived already chipped, it would have to be reglued in order to put it together, i returned it but have not received if i would get my money back or not.

Good looking desk; mediocre materials

Pros:-Good looking-Has cutouts for cords to be hiddenCons:-Took ~3 hrs to put together with poor instructions (coming from an intermediate level handy person)-Mediocre materials (easily nicked) and drawers don't line up perfectly (though we made a few adjustments to make it work)Overall, like the desk for the price. It did arrive damaged (a panel had been cracked) but luckily hayneedle took care of us.

Computer Desk

The desk is beautiful, but was a complete pain to put together. On top of that, we were missing parts and had to wait 2 weeks for them before we could continue putting the desk together. We do love the desk, but would never go through putting it together again.

It's prettynice

The desk itself is a beast. It's much longer and taller than I expected but leaves plenty of legroom and the keyboard shelf (which I don't need because I have a laptop) is long and provides plenty of room. The bottom drawer is a bit silly, the front comes up high but the back is open so whatever you stack in it ends up falling out the back. And I don't quite get the point of the glass window to see into the top drawer, but I suppose someone might get a kick out of it.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,As far as overall quality, it is a massive pain in the rear to put together. I'm used to doing projects like these by myself, I've assembled dressers, cabinets, bookshelves, beds, etc alone, but this desk is a 2 or 3 person job because of they way they put the cams and pegs in. It's great once it's together because the method makes it remarkably sturdy and holds itself together well (unlike most 'fake' wood items where the assemblage drifts or sags). Just have extra people on hand and pray you don't miss anything and have to take it all apart again!,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,The back panel provides a nifty little hidden spot where there's a power supply and you can put all your appliance cables back through it and keep them out of site. It's nice, but difficult if you have a lot of appliances on the desk. I'm always moving my printer, scanner, etc forward so I can get in there!,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Overall I like it, I don't regret buying it, and hope I never have to dismantle it! Less

Good Desk, Convenient Cabling

This is great desk for organizing in minimalist space. There aren't as many plugs on the built-in power cord as I'd like, 2 more would be perfect, there are 5. Cabling from under the desk into the trenched power space is non-existent but should be. Keyboard pullout should actually rise and lower into the desk, that would be more functional with this desks top interface. Drawers are smooth and sturdy, handle average paper weighting well so far.,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,The device tray is limiting in size of device as the separators are built in and not adjustable.

Great Desk

Once the desk was assembled, it looks great. It's sturdy and large. It's exactly what we needed. I must warn you, though, it comes in pieces... dozens and dozens s of pieces! It takes a while to attach the brackets to the wood pieces; then, you need two people to get the pieces put together. No words on the directions, just pictures. So, plan some time to get the desk built.
