Beautiful addition! Very sturdy! We liked this brand so much that we ordered two 19 inch end tables and the 48 inch entry bench to match! Great brand!

Great fabric and it functions well. I wish the fold out part was taller but everything else was perfect.

This review is for the Simpli Home Hamilton lift top faux leather ottoman . The color is midnight black and i believe it also comes in a brown option alternative. Right off the bat upon unboxing i was honestly very impressed. This ottoman bench is very well crafted and solidly built . It has a very plush feel and is very soft and it honestly feels like it could be real leather. The dimensions are 48" W x 17.7" D x 16.1”H. It is a very generous size at 48” long. The bottom of the ottoman has a beautiful nailhead trim and it really makes a difference and that makes it look more premium which is awesome. There is plenty of room to store whatever you may need to whether it be blankets, pillows,toys ,etc . The 4 wooden feet come inside the unit and screw on nice and easily . The holes are predrilled and perfect size. Each came with a washer for better protection which is a plus. The ottoman can be used as a footrest, coffee table,entryway bench or even at the foot of your bed.The arms on my couch aren’t that wide so on top of this being a new ottoman / coffee table it will now be able to store remotes and cell phones without them dropping any more haha. It feels very solidly built and looks like it will last many years. I don’t see a weight limit for seating but these items usually can withstand 250-300 lbs if using as seating , but i wouldn’t recommend sleeping on it lol. SimpliHome is a very reputable brand and their items have great reviews. In conclusion i would 100% recommend this item to anybody interested in a new ottoman, or bench for their homes. Less

Great addition to my living room!

I received my Hamilton 44in.W Rectangle LiftTop Storage Ottoman in Midnight Black Faux Leather, and immediately put it to use! It replaced an outdated coffee table, and looks just lovely! It offers a wonderful amount of storage, and I have my extra throw blankets there now. It’s such a great idea! The top is soft and very comfortable to put one’s feet up, after a long day. It has a lovely faux leather fabric, with a richly tufted top, and the top also lifts up and out, so I’m able to place a tray of drinks and snacks on top of it, and elevate it to a comfortable height to reach whatever is placed on it.I really love this ottoman, and I’d highly recommend it!

A Bit Shallow, but Looks Great

This storage bench (not sure why they call it an "ottoman") has great upholstery - it's very supple, unlike most faux leathers. The top is nicely padded, too, though I don't know how long it'd stay fluffy if it was frequently sat on.Inside, the open space has a fuzzy lining that ensures that it's free of rough spots. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there is no obnoxious odor. The legs to the bench are stored inside here, along with any needed mounting hardware. However, I decided to leave it Florida-style (no legs attached), at least for now.My intended permanent space for it is inside the house, where it'll hopefully be able to hold my off-season wardrobe. The interior is a bit smaller than I expected, though, so I'm not sure I can cram everything in. For now, I have it in my attached storage area, which isn't part of the living space. That's because it came before I could clear the intended spot, but I wanted to unbox it right away. It might be another month or three before I get the desired room ready.It's fairly heavy, and with its outer box, it's 55lbs. Once out of the box, it's maybe 40-45lbs. Due to its size, it's pretty awkward and difficult for one person to move. If you can draft a helper, it's a good idea to do so. Less

Looks way better in person

Decided to get this beautiful Ottoman for my wife that had knee surgery. She won't leave the living room lol. It came super wrapped & secured to avoid and mishandling. I'm very impressed on how well made it is with midnight black which pops in my living room. Quality construction cause I weigh 210lbs and sat on it and it didn't even budge. Hidden space saver is larger than expected which is a plus. Legs are solid wood and have washers that prevent them from coming loose. Stitching is well done. Faux Leather is thicker than most I've had in the past. Every home should have one. I cover it up so my cat won't damage it. Absolutely gorgeous.

Quality, cute, functional

I admit that I was surprised when unboxing this item, the quality build it had. It's very solid, and went together nicely (fit and finish). It also is attractive and could very easily fit in most décor. I also really like the extra storage AND the top that rises on hinges! That is a cool feature and helpful if we ever want (ahem) eat in front of the TV or do some computer work.
