Perfect quality desk

This desk came together beautifully- it is strong, designed perfectly and looks clean and high end when all put together. Assembly was long but this instructions were clear and easy to follow. Worth the price!

Easy to assemble but time consuming. All parts labeled and fittings individually bagged, instructions effective. Used a driver and with final torquing by hand to avoid stripping while reducing time required.

Very good quality furniture, but color not accurate

I purchased several pieces of this Hammond Collection for my home office. The executive desk is excellent in styling and construction. The only reason I'm giving a 4-star review is that the color of this collection's photos and description as ""blonde"" are not accurate. The color leans towards a more light gray color wash, then a blonde color. I viewed this collection on a professional photographer's monitor for more accurate color before purchasing and was expecting a blonde color. I did tell customer service my concerns, and I hope they change the color photos and description. As for assembling the executive desk, there are many pieces to assemble, expect to spend 6-8 hours, and be advised two people need to work on it.

Fabulous Desk!

This is my second Sauder desk And I love it more than my first! I bought it for our new home office and it looks great. The product is very well-made and very sturdy. I definitely would recommend this desk to anyone looking for one.

Great Looking Desk

Took me all day to assemble, but totally worth it. You definitely need two people to get the big pieces together. I have no complaints about the product itself, but the delivery company that was used - Accurate Cargo - totally sucked and this is the only reason for taking off a star. They called to schedule delivery. They only come to my area on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, so I scheduled a Monday. The best they could do for a timeline was between 8 and 5, so I took the day off from work. At 4:30 when they hadn't arrived, I called the number and was told they are open until 6 pm and I was 2nd from last. They never showed. I called the next morning and was told that the truck was too big for my residential area. This is BS. I have had tractor trailers deliver to my address. I have 2. 5 acres with a huge circular drive. I rescheduled for Friday. They said they would send a smaller truck. Took another day off from work. Called them Friday morning at 10 am to confirm - all good. Guess what? Never showed. Called them back at 5:45pm and was told it was never loaded on the truck. Rescheduled for Monday morning between 7 am and 8 am (they can give a time!) Finally showed at 6:40 am. This driver actually called me at 6:15 and said he was 30 minutes out. I would like to suggest to Sauder to never use (IN)ACCURATE CARGO again. I won't be ordering any more products from any company that uses them. Less

Nice looking desk

When I received the desk the work surface/desktop was damaged, probably by the shipping company. It revealed however that there is very thin laminate used and it certainly is not a solid piece of wood. We received a replacement top within 5 days and I am using the desk now in my office. I am using a glass top to protect the desk. It looks really good

Not sure I would purchase again. Issues listed below.

The right-side upright board attached to the keyboard tray was cracked. Was able to use. But the way the package was packed the board was cracked before shipping from the factory. Some the finish material glued to the boards is already starting to come loose.

Best quality product!

I have it to give it to the Sauder team - Design, R&D, QA, Ops: Job well done!! I wish other manufacturing could learn from what y'all do and how to put out best qulaity products. I have bought many furnitures in the last 25 yrs and nothing comes close to the ease of putting it together and the quality. $$ well spent. I am willing to pay extra $$ for quality and ease of putting it together!

Desk looks great and works very well. The desk came in 2 boxes with all the pieces very well packaged. The instructions to put it together were clear and worked very well with everything aligned and square and did not require any forced assembly. The only issue I had was the delivery was only front door drop off and I had to carry the two heavy boxes into my house. In looking at the receipt, it clearly stated front door delivery so I missed that. Happy with purchase and would definitely buy one of their products again.
