This item is an attractive design and sturdily made, with nice colors, not too big or small looking when you plug it into the wall. It can be used in just about any room: bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, hallway, living room....I think the only place it could not be used is probably in a closet, bjecause you would want to show this item off and not hide it.
