The rug is very nice and fits under the door the only reason for the 3 stars is I almost fell it is soooooooo slippery !! Like ice … so if you are placing this on wood or tile you must order a really good non slip pad. I just ordered 2 for the two of these I just bought now I have to wait again till they show up. They slide fast !!!!!!!
Our favorite rug in the house. It's holding up well against a lot of traffic as its at our main entry and the landing of our stairwell. Still looks great. The weight and thickness give the impression that it cost a lot more than it did.
This is probably one of my favorite rugs that I've bought from Wayfair, and I've bought quite a few. It's a braided rug, nice and heavy, that I put in front of my sliding glass door. I love the color, the weight, and the quality. It's a really well-made rug and totally worth the price. If I had a place for another one, I'd definitely buy it.
I love this rug. I have it inside. A friend said she uses indoor/outdoor rugs inside because you can take them outside and hose them down to clean. Which I have done with this rug, worked perfectly.
Positive - design, aesthetic's, weight. Negative - several loose threads and a few frays, mainly due to looming process. Those issues easily taken care of with scissor trimming and the burning of frays with a lighter. Placed this rug directly on concrete patio under gazebo. Feels and looks fantastic, holds up well to traffic (two dogs, 6 family members) in and out of patio area. Easy clean up with vacuum, also dries quickly from wet paws or light rain. The rug settled well with minimal pockets after a day or two.
Product arrived well packaged and expectedly wrapped very tightly. Took some time to flatten out. The rug does slip and slide without additional underlayment to hold in place. Primary criticisms - the rug material unravels rather easily and needs to be secured with fabric adhesive. Also, the rug needs underlayment to stay secured and not slip as easily as would otherwise be the case. Otherwise, colors are as advertised and present nicely.
The blue color is a little darker then I wanted, but it blends in nicely. I bought this for my bedroom that is mostly white with blue accents.
This rug was really poorly made. The pieces were clearly not measured well so the rug was permanently bunched up in a lot of places. In a year and half, the stitching that kept the pieces together started coming apart so there were holes and, when we moved, we left the rug behind because it wasn't worth bringing with us.
Sadly I want to love this rug but is started to fray on day one and has ever since in multiple places from very light normal use. Really bummed. I sent in pictures of the initial fray for return and was only offered a partial 40% refund and no return option, so we are now living with the fraying (still pricey) outdoor rug that doesn't stand up to much at all. The entire rug is full of these frays now, very attractive.
I purchased the circle shaped rug. Honestly it’s a terrible rug, terrible quality, it will not hold up and was falling apart from the get go. It snags, frays, etc, it’s a joke to be marketed as an indoor/outdoor rug. We hardly step on it, and it hasn’t held up to weekly vacuuming.
These rugs are very nice and perfect for our granddaughter’s new bedroom addition.
Rugs are exactly the color and texture I want for a current kitchen remodel. They were wrapped and shipped with care. All 3 had 2 large, 5x7, labels stuck on them that are very difficult to peel off. The labels come off in little pieces, leave small bits of paper behind with a sticky residue left on the rug. VERY hard to remove. Disappointing because the rugs are perfect for the room.
I bought three runners: 2 six-footers and 1 eight-footers. The six-footers are perfect. The eight-footer has a looser weave and looks rumply compared to the shorter runners. Color (navy-white) is as shown online. The rolled ends have all flattened out after unrolling them and stacking books on them over night. The rumply middle of the eight-footer does not want to flatten out.
This rug had much room for improvement. The rug is very thin. Could have used a more substantial core. The gray threads will seperate from each other and the white core braiding underneath will show. It does require separate rubber matting underneath. It will slide under you if on wood floor. Overall, the look if rug is satisfactory, but the quality is lacking.
I love this rug! It's the perfect charcoal color that's more homey than industrial looking; the braid and softness balance the dark color just right. I have it inside at my front door and the color is just neutral enough to not stand out in a room of mostly whites. Hides dirt well. Took off one star because it has a slightly frayed patch that makes me worry about longevity, but it's very difficult to see unless you're really looking for it, so we'll see how it ages.
I am very happy with this new runner for my kitchen. It looks great, it is soft on my feet, and perhaps most importantly the colors hide any tiny crumbs that might fall on it. I consider myself to be a bit of a neat freak. Prior to this I had a solid color runner that stressed me out because every little speck showed. That doesn’t happen with this runner. So not thinking, “Dang I JUST vacuumed this!,” every time I walk through this high traffic area truly has made made me feel a greater sense of peace. This rug was well worth the 100 I spent on it.
I’m really glad I went with this rug. I’ve wanted something that was dark blue, farmhouse style, and durable and this rug fits all tbat. It arrived quickly compared to some other options and it was reasonably priced. There are a few spots where the braiding is coming out but it’s minimal. The smell at first wasn’t great but didn’t permeate through the house. It was just in the rug if you put your nose near it. I don’t love that it’s poly as opposed to cotton or wool but I’m hoping that makes it more durable.
This rug is more beautiful in person than online. In addition to the white and navy blue, there is a blue/green/gray mixed in, which is perfect with green wall color. I'm using this in a guest bedroom and it's very soft to walk on. I do recommend a rug mat underneath if using this on hardwoods, as the rug does have a good amount of give and stretch. The rug mat seems to be keeping it in place well, but I would slide around and/or stretch a lot without it. I took one star away because it feels like there is a coating which left a residue on my hands after arranging it. It's not really noticeable when walking on it, but might be an issue in a living room or kids room where people/kids might sit on the floor. Otherwise, this rug is perfect!
I think I like it even more in person than I did when I saw it online, as opposed to the other way around which happens all too often. The quality seems good and I love the dark charcoal gray color. It does slide around a little bit on my hardwood floor, so I would suggest a non-slip mat for underneath in that case. The care instructions mention vacuuming without using the rotating brush. I could see how over time that might disrupt the braids and make it fray. I haven’t vacuumed it yet, but hopefully it still picks up the debris without the brush function. Anyway, the rug is also puppy approved and Mr. Wiggins made sure to wiggle himself into the photos to show it.
As usual, my purchase arrived quickly and without incident. I love the dependability and efficiency of Wayfair's delivery system. The rug itself was a bit darker than "medium blue". I would call it closer to Navy. Also it does not sit flat. This is not a weighty rug. I am a small framed 5"2" woman and easily maneuvered this 9X12 rug up 2 flights of stairs without assistance. So when I laid the rug out, there are "puckers" in different spots that just do not sit flat.I am hoping time will stretch them out. I am using it layered on-top of another rug so it isn't as noticeable. It is working for me but, its not a very sturdy option for a high traffic area.
