Lovely, but 9x12 is smaller than advertised!

Really love the look of this rug. It’s opened up my space, has a thick pile, and seems good quality for the price. However… the 9x12 is NOT 9x12. It’s closer to 8.5x12. The sticker on the rug, itself, claims 9x12, and the specs also say 9x12, but I measured it at just over 8.5’ (103.5”) wide by almost 12’ (142”) wide. I really did want the extra 4.5” width, but I won’t return because I do like the colors and design and returning would be a huge hassle. I highly recommend if it’s the size you want.

Buy a rubber broom and you’ll love this watch rug

Rug was absolutely beautiful. Exactly as pictured. The only issue is that this rugs sheds an INSANE amount. It’s so much shedding that it clumps and leaves the rug looking a bit faded or ashy. I’ve had the rug for about 1 month now and couldn’t take the clumps any longer. I grabbed a rubber broom instead of messing up my vacuum cleaner. Little to no shed left. Needs a little elbow grease but it seems to be a good product overall.

I’ve ordered every rug in my house from Overstock over the last several years . For larger rugs , you can’t beat the price , even at *** **** since it’s a shipping free delivery to my door .I have found Safaveigh to always be top quality. This rug is excellent quality and true to color pictured. I can’t speak on longevity /durability since it’s a new purchase , but all of my others are still in great condition

Beautiful but high maintenance

I loved the look of this rug online and when it arrived but let me tell you it SHEDS. I thought it would stop after a couple months but here I am months later and it still sheds. Any time I sit on it I get up and am covered in white fibers. It’s also extremely hard to clean because the black runs into the white and blurs the rug if you use any water. While I love the look of it, if it’s in a room you plan on using a lot, I wouldn’t recommend.

Do not buy this rug!!! I vacuumed it and was shocked that after about 10 pushes on my vacuum, the canister was filled with fibers. I decided to vacuum the entire vacuum over and over to see if the shedding would end. After 8 times of back to back shedding, the canister was still filling up. It leaves shedding residue all over my hard would floors and it drives me crazy. Also, I’m not sure it was woven correctly on the loom, because the edges are not straight. Overstock should not offer this rug for sale. It is a nightmare.

Beautiful but sheds a ton

This rug is beautiful ... but sheds - ALOT. The white sheds into the black and black into the white, making it look constantly dirty - no matter how many times it’s vacuumed. It continuously leaves fur balls on the sides after my robot vacuum runs over it. Hoping it will stop after a few months, because I really love it other than the shedding.

The quality of the carpet is nice. the feel of the carpet under foot and the size is right on. However, the pattern in this blueish (somewhere between navy and dark blue) carpet is much more pronounced that what is shown in the photos. The lines in the pattern are thicker, kind of white in color and more geometric than "tribal" which is what I was looking for. Very disappointed in the pattern of the lines which turn out to be "thick" and "busy" rather than a soft, more blended design.

I ordered this rug and it had a bad toxic smell. Put it in the garage, covered with baking soda, vacuumed several time, but still smelled. Wayfair was great and returned it without charge to me. They sent another one. Although the second one did not smell as much, it has been several weeks and it still smells toxic (strong vinegar type smell). I've even put it out in the sun.
